As an navajo this takes me back and I can totally see where all these folks are coming from when explaining it on the navajo rez (except maybe for last one but it is similar) glad you chose a lot of navajo skinwalker stories from that Reddit because for me it can be quite terrifying, mostly because I know how it is on our homeland Area haha Also, these stories remind me of other people’s stories I listened to which made me look at my surroundings because I got uneasy just now haha

Skinwalkers are so scary I'm native I've had something similar to the gf and bf story, I was camping in Wyoming at a cabin. I heard calls of a coyote while smoking a cig and went out to the car where my buddies I looked in and saw were sleeping and it was silent but crickets and then nothing like I couldn't hear anything for about 7-8 seconds....then when my hearing came back I heard snaps of twigs and all of a sudden I woke up on the ground by their car and and my buddy by my side frantically asking if I was okay he got me up and all we could hear was the the howls of coyotes as he walked me back to the cabin. I still have no idea what happened before I heard those snaps of twigs maybe it was my buddies but when I got to the car and then walked back in we heard shit rustling. I'm native too so I think I have an idea of what I got visited by I'm glad my buddy was there I must've hit his car or something when I collapsed but it's the weirdest story I've ever expirenced in the woods by far I woke up legit horror movie terrified on the ground. No history of fainting or anything the scariest part for me to this day was he told me "you know what that was right"? I just said "yeah man at least you know now I wasn't lying about it".
I'm definitely enjoying the stories and narration, it's always cool to hear of stories near me such as Arizona or new Mexico. My older brother and sister have a few stories of there own so if youd like I can share them would be nice for there story to be told.

No cries for help. No sound. How do you explain that?

From the point of view that these beings exist... the likelihood of any real harm coming from an encounter with them seems very small. The worst thing I've heard on another UA-camr is that a Wendigo killed the family father and... possessed the mother, ka. The funniest story was that a skinwalker mingled with a group and tried to make them angry with the phrase "You got more than we did" xD. At first I thought it was scary but now it's more fun to listen to what people come up with regarding these creatures. But a compliment, it is really pleasant to listen to you :). ok listen, at 2:48, when he said it felt like getting punched or going off an edge on an roller-coaster, that's exactly what me and my friend felt one time when we were hanging out, we were talking about the things at the time and just as we were about to split, I got that feeling, and from the way my friends face looked i could tell he felt it too, and it wasn't just a small tingle feeling, it was strong, like a shockwave. i couldn't explain it because we were in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. I do believe these creatures Rome are earth. Another weird thing that happened on that same day was just earlier before that, there was this old house we were looking at from a distance, then there was a treelined right to the left of the house, when me and my friend were talking, I glanced over to the treeline for some reason, all I saw was a white figure like slide behind a tree, like what you would see in movies, I got freaked out so me and my friend hurried home. the fact that scares me most is 3 days earlier I just started to get into researching these "things' and the fact that iv gone to my friends house so much and nothing ever happened, but the day I start looking into these things, then something happens, out of the blue just doesn't add up.
I’m 16 yrs old and I live in the Navajo reservation, in a rural area called grand falls which is a tourist spot but I’ve seen stuff here and across the Rez like dogs twice the size of a German shepherd or lights in the sky even my aunts who live in tuba city see a werewolf creature or a tall cowboy like man. Trust me it happens when you least expect here on the Rez. As children we were always taught to not play outside at night and don’t talk about skinwalker a or else they will hear and come see you it’s like not saying Voldemort in Harry Potter

ok listen, at 2:48, when he said it felt like getting punched or going off an edge on an roller-coaster, that's exactly what me and my friend felt one time when we were hanging out, we were talking about the things at the time and just as we were about to split, I got that feeling, and from the way my friends face looked i could tell he felt it too, and it wasn't just a small tingle feeling, it was strong, like a shockwave. i couldn't explain it because we were in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. I do believe these creatures Rome are earth. Another weird thing that happened on that same day was just earlier before that, there was this old house we were looking at from a distance, then there was a treelined right to the left of the house, when me and my friend were talking, I glanced over to the treeline for some reason, all I saw was a white figure like slide behind a tree, like what you would see in movies, I got freaked out so me and my friend hurried home. the fact that scares me most is 3 days earlier I just started to get into researching these "things' and the fact that iv gone to my friends house so much and nothing ever happened, but the day I start looking into these things, then something happens, out of the blue just doesn't add up.
I remember a couple years ago, a little girl got killed by a skinwalker.
Everyone knew a skinwalker did it.
Tragic.

I’m 16 yrs old and I live in the Navajo reservation, in a rural area called grand falls which is a tourist spot but I’ve seen stuff here and across the Rez like dogs twice the size of a German shepherd or lights in the sky even my aunts who live in tuba city see a werewolf creature or a tall cowboy like man. Trust me it happens when you least expect here on the Rez. As children we were always taught to not play outside at night and don’t talk about skinwalker a or else they will hear and come see you it’s like not saying Voldemort in Harry Potter

Based on the physical description of the entity encountered in story #3, as well as its actions, it seems, to me, that this creature was actually a dogman, rather than a skinwalker!😝
