You deserved a break away Henry from all the past hard work (van conversion and all). Obdviously back refreshed and with some cracking shots. Thanks for sharing these wide angle shots and settings. All quality but the starburst shot my favourite, inspired yet again, must give it a go on my next outing with camera.
Hi Henry, another grand day out and thanks for sharing. Super images, in particular I liked the last one .. at that point if you'd said, "there's your dinner" we'd have had the full range of "Henry-isms". Great to see you again, and always look forward to Thursday evenings for the latest and greatest episode of Henry's enthusiasm .. what a tonic for the soul!
I think you are the first I've heard give MPB a mention. I've used them for 3-4 years and their service is fantastic, when I've traded gear in they have always raised the value of what I've sent in to exchange. Great video as per 👍
I always learn something from your videos Henry so thank you. It is so helpful that you put your settings etc on the screen for us so thank you for that too. Glad you had a good holiday and are glad to be back at work. Keep living the dream!
Last shot was the money maker Henry! I don't use my wide angle lens a lot either, mainly, because I don't have and vistas but I do need to look of opportunities to use it more. Thanks for the kick in the pants to give it a go.
I think that as Beacon you were on? I can usually spot the location on the map, but I'm not totally sure in this case... Anyways I have an ultrawide lens in my bag and it's by far my least used lens. I even use my fisheye more often! I really need to try mounting the UW as my default and get into the wide zone. My problem is I hate how wide angles shrink the landscape, they are really all about the foreground. Nice video and welcome back.
Good to see you back henry , though as you said, to us you haven't really been away. Another fabulous inspiring video. Cant wait to see what the rest of the summer brings especially as its now a cold dark winter here in OZ....
The little video on the z7 made and good job of showing how you can emphasise mountain peaks with a wide angle lens, has you moved the camera down the Coniston range got taller in the distance. Good video as always including the sheep and carnage. 😄 MPB are very good to use. 👍
Totally agree Henry. Only got the lens earlier in the year because I didn't think I needed a lens that wide. I was wrong a brilliant lens which I use a lot. As you say you just need to get closer to the foreground.
Thanks again Henry... great video & comments... results with that lens are brilliant as I also like shooting wide angle from time to time...I use the Tokina 12-24mm lens on my D500.... cheers from Australia 😀
There’s that Henthusiasm back in spades 😁 loved this video (and all the others of course) because this time last year I had the pleasure of camping at Coniston water, and this brings back all the lovely memories and makes me want to be there again. Just need the bank to approve the fuel mortgage 😬
Hey, you're right, Henry. I have stuck my 10-20 wide angle on my crop sensor, as it is not suited for the newer full frame in my kit... and I forget about it. Thanks for the inspiration to rethink compositions for it when out and about. Cheers, mate from down under. Nice inspirational shots today
It's the only zoom i have now , i traded my other zooms out for primes yes the 24-200 too lol . but i kept the 14-30 it's a fantastic lens :) .. Some lovely images there Henry
great henry it always amazes me the perspective distorion of the wide angle lens it look as its almost pointing down yet your still getting floor and sky ( if you choose) ! is the fact that with post processing and stitching photos the wide angle is dying away I wonder....
Brilliant, I really enjoyed watching this, good scenery etc. I wish I was there. Just one small point, at 11:43 you take a picture, I'm sure I saw your camera move as you pressed the shutter button! The obvious question, why don't you use a remote release?
Check the hyperfocal distance at 14mm. It'll be closer than your closest foreground. You don't need f/16. Diffraction isn't bad at that f-stop but it would be better down a stop or so.
Nice shots Henry love getting the Sun Star effect with the wide angle lens. Nice of you to mention Nick Page at the beginning of the video. As a long time subscriber to Nick's page his UA-cam posts like yours are addictive and incredibly inspirational and great for getting much needed tips. Already looking forward to your next post.
Your sporting a bit of tan there my friend! I hope you enjoyed your holibobs? To be honest, yes, you're right, I didn't even notice you'd gone anywhere! But also to be honest, I haven't really noticed much these past few day.. I've got Covid! I'm ok though. It's only a mild dose! .. I love some of your sayings.."Straight out the top drawer!" Classic! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You always honestly inspire me and expand my techniques; liked the suns rays photo . Hoping to get a walk in this Monday (weather permitting though) and I will hopefully use something from this episode 😎
Another great video Henry, and I would like to endorse your comments on mpb. You mentioned 2 or 3 days for payment. I sold them my Nikon D7200 body (I upgraded to the Z5), and after a short delay caused by the courier, during which the comms from mpb were great, they confirmed receipt of the body at about 10am and the money was in my bank by 2pm.
When I do landscapes I've 2 cameras on the go my Nikon D800 with the 20mm f1.8 and my Nikon D7200 with the 17-55mm f2.8 DX Since I've both set ups I feel that I need to use them and it saves me having to change lenses and a dirty sensor The downfall is the 24-140 f4 FX lens, which I never bring with me any more. How ironic 😂
Congrats on your sponsorship with MPB. They appear to be a very professional outfit.
Hi Henry, that holiday was just what you needed. My wife was saying you look a lot more relaxed and more like your old self.
MPB are absolutely awesome. The circular economy for us photographers. My favourite company ever! Thanks Henry!
Ah yes they are class aren’t they!!
14-30 & 24-200 are the 2 I use most, great lenses. Good to see you back after a break 👏
Absolutely stunning captures. Wow

Gorgeous.Love the wide angle shots in that stunning scenery Henry!💙

Another great video, thanks. Glad you had a good break.
Love the shot with the sun!

The light in the 2nd image was devine Henry. Goof to hear you’ve had a refreshing break too👍🏼

You can’t beat those outtakes of the sheep lol ❤️🤣🥰
Once again another great video, I loved seeing the beautiful landscape and of course also again your wonderful pictures!
Great shots tonight: glad you enjoyed your time off!
Another brilliant and inspiring video. Thanks for taking us on this adventure Henry.
Many thanks!
I love the wide-angle lens... it encourages so much creativity...
Another great video Henry. 👍
I purchased an olympus em5 last week and a 14-42mm lens last night from mpb, last year I bought a Sony a5000, won't use anyone else. Great video btw 👌
I love the 14-30mm lens, it’s fantastic. 👌🏻
I think that as Beacon you were on? I can usually spot the location on the map, but I'm not totally sure in this case...

Great stuff Henry! I love the starburst by the F16. Thanks for bringing us along!
Just bought a used Nikon 12-24 f:4 lens from MPB. Can't wait to get out and use it.
Nice one. Love the middle image. Thanks
I buy all my stuff off MPB for all my second hand lens. Great to be see the support you and not squarespace
Cracking video again Henry, I think the Sunburst image was a peach .
Thinking you should use this lens more, well done!
The little video on the z7 made and good job of showing how you can emphasise mountain peaks with a wide angle lens, has you moved the camera down the Coniston range got taller in the distance.
Good video as always including the sheep and carnage. 😄
MPB are very good to use. 👍
I use mpb, great customer service, I bought a lens that had a fault and no problems swapping for it another. Great video as per!
Another great video Henry with some stunning pictures. Excellent work my friend, keep it up.
Cheers Luke 👍🏼

Hi Henry another inspiring video, it going to be a lens I try in the future.
MPB are very good, I’ve just looked on their website, looks like I’m going shopping....again. Nice photos Henry! All the best mate.
Yes they are brill mate! And thanks a lot Graham
Beautiful ❤️

Hi Henry, more excellent shots, I have to go with the star burst, fantastic! Look forward to seeing you on your next adventure.
Thanks Michael!
Nice video. I love that lense too👍
hi Henry, the 14-30 I agree is a fabulous lens,as you have demonstrated here in another great video with some super images, keep them coming.
Awesome!
great henry it always amazes me the perspective distorion of the wide angle lens it look as its almost pointing down yet your still getting floor and sky ( if you choose) ! is the fact that with post processing and stitching photos the wide angle is dying away I wonder....
At 11:48, absolute class. That was my favorite.
Nice shots! I don't use an ultra wide myself, I prefer the mid to long focal range so I have a 24-120 and 100-400.
Cracking mate, loved it, cheers mate
Thanks very much :)

Thanks Edward. 2 second delay is always on with my tripod 👍🏼
@@HenryTurnerphoto yep, I always use a 2 or 3 second delay. I use it so often that my stop-down button is set for the delay functionality.
Another brilliant video, thanks Henry. I noticed you didn't use a lens hood, any particular reason? I use a 12-24 Sigma and seldom bother with it.

No bother mate hope you're well!!

Ah that’s class Neil!! I’ve only had positive experiences with them myself, they’re brilliant 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Isn't it so often the case that it's the photo you didn't expect to get that ends up being your favourite?
Love my G9 kit, Sony can go to hell. Whatever you love to capture and share is all that matters!
