I believe Esti was just patching some things up so she didn't immediately went with Ronit. They even promised each other that they will see each other again (Damn, that still sounds sad haha) but yeah, Esti said she'll tell Ronit where she'll be. Anyway I'm gonna read the book to have more insight haha

P F I watched this movie three times in the theatre and five times streaming...I love the open interpretation in the end. My take on it is that they will get together later once Esti resolves her leaving Dovid. My version of a happy ending I suppose.

I think that the couple chosen for this movie is based on the couple of Lena Headey and Piper Perabo, (Weiz would be Lena and Piper Rachel Mcadams) of the movie Imagine me and you "although it is very tender and pink and this is very raw and dramatic "Lena and Piper were a couple that I liked very much, and I think they looked for that with Duo Rachel. Even though the plots are different they coincide a lot.
