Look at the response the LORD gives to Job when HE decides to finally answer him, and also Job didnt pray and ask God to do those things to him. And if we look at the way God would allow countries who were not God fearing people,to conquer and oppress Israel when isreal would fall away. To say God is limited is to say that He isnt God at all.

We have free will so If God wanted to heal someone through us and we don´t want to, He won´t force us. If we have faith and do not doubt, then we are giving in to God, thus giving him permission to work through us. I think its yr wrong understanding of the word PERMISSION that Dr Myles used that confused you. Dr Myles simply simplifies so we get it.

Please search for where Myles explains the whole meaning of prayer, basically, that God put man on earth to be its steward and manager. Although God owns earth, his dwelling place is heaven and he left mankind to manage earth. If mankind do a messy job, earth will be messy.
