I have the same Hobo A6 HON so I wanted to see how you were using yours. But to be very honest, I clicked on your video because of your co-host, your cat! 🤭 I've been using my HON for listing out daily tasks, tracking my Netflix viewing in the monthly, memory keeping, journaling, brain dump writing ideas, and using up my sticker hoard (every month in the daily pages, there is a theme for uniformity) HAHA. For 2024, I like the smaller size and being able to combine a number of planners into one.

Thanks for clicking! Even it was for just my cat, Zeus. There is a window right there that he likes to look out of :) I love that you are using it for so many things! I think I'll redate it and use it next year. Do you put a lot of stickers in it? How's it holding up?

@@stephanieplansandreads Hello Zeus! I'll have to keep an eye out for your videos to see how you and Zeus are doing. My A6 HON is holding up great so far. I've been strategic with my sticker usage (sticker hoarding is a major problem HAHA). There are a lot of pages where I don't have any major tasks, so I try to be creative with stickers and doing some self-reflection (smaller page space makes it less intimidating to fill). I love the A5 size, love Sterling Ink common planners and Hobonichis, but I feel like I "waste" so much paper because I don't fill all that space -- not that all that space needs to be filled! LOL! Looking forward to more of your planner journey. Thanks! 😀

@@lantismail I understand the dilemma of unfilled pages. I'm glad to hear your HON is holding up well!

I love nothing more than seeing how people are using their books lol! And yours are beautiful! I love the way your common planner is coming along. My own silly unneeded advice is just keep using it however it feels natural and joyful and if you have pages left over that’s ok !

Oh I love it too. Peeping into people's planners is the best! I love the Common Planner, what planner are you using? I appreciate the advice and I think you are right. I'll just go with the flow and do what works. Thank you so much for the comment and for watching.

I loved seeing your planners and how you've used them! Since you asked for suggestions, I would suggest adding your social media to your common planner since that's the book it appears you refer to for your "management" sort of tasks. So even though social media might fall into a different category in your mind, it still requires managing, so I'd place it in your common planner. And, because I love color coding, I might choose a distinct color to record SM tasks so they stand out better. Your reading planner is wonderful! I always think about using a paper planner for my reading journal, but in the end, I always stick with digital. It isn't as pretty, but the functionality is better.

I don't know why I didn't see this until now but thank you so much! Moving my social media into my Common Planner makes sense (I like the way you group them as my 'management' tasks!). I think colour coding could work too. I appreciate your comments and thanks so much for watching!

I agree with Kristi, I would add the social media to the B6 and keep the reading journal separate. You could move your to dos to the page per day like you spoke about. Love your daily pages!

I'm doing that now and I think it's working better...until it doesn't I guess :) Thanks for watching!

Wonderful planners to keep us organized and have some fun. I try to use 1 To DO List that includes all my life areas. Makes it easier to keep track of for me. (I use the compact versions of the Planners which holds down the extra pages in the back-I don't need a daily page).

Yes, I agree. One to-do list with everything is all that I can handle or else I'll forget things. Sterling Ink are great planners for sure! Thanks for the comment :)

my to do lists are in the dailies! usually i make one list, unless i see myself avoiding work things with home things, and then i make two lists, but both live on the appropriate daily page

I loved this video! I'm glad I found your channel. I just purchased a B6 Sterling Ink Academic Planner and I am currently in a Hobonichi Weeks Mega. My favourites have been the Spring Cousin, the B6 Stalogy 365 and Weeks Mega. This year I didn't purchase a Cousin and decided to try the Hobonichi A6 Original, A6 Notebook ( I couldn't pass up the botanical design) and the Mega. But I've decided that I have too many books/planners and that it was time to simplify- enter the Sterling Ink 😅I really love bound books and realize that I need one MAIN planner that is portable and a notebook for journaling etc. I really do hope to just have ONE book for planning, memory keeping, and journaling.

OMG are we the same person?! LOL, I also couldn't resist the botanical cover so I bought the A6 Hon. I haven't used it at all but I may just save it for another year and redate it. The desire for everything in one book is strong with me too. I think I could fit everything in but then the kind of decor I do is different in both so I also kind of like the separation. Planners are so fun :) Thanks for the comment and for watching!
