happy new year ! I'm so happy to have a long video. I'm in San diego california and we are gearing up for new years. I went and had chicken feet soup because I wanted to branch out like my mukbang guys and you do! thabks for the videos! Let's do new things and spread love!
Kyle, I think the tradition will continue generations from now. When I was there in VN, up to 1975, the markets would open only up to noon on Tet Eve. Everyone hurried home to prepare to have a welcome ceremony for deceased ancestors and family members. they will have food laid out for them every day for the 3 Luna New Years days. a farewell ceremony would be on the 4th day.
Omg your relatives house is so close to my family house in Vietnam!!! Please film more around the area especially during tet since our family cannot go back there this year. Thank you.
Hey Kyle, great video and it was very touching about your pondering what will your relatives do when the authority implement their zoning ordinance and its effect on burial sites. Many here in the West don't think it's a big issue but in Vietnam and China where ancestral worship is so important, it's a huge stress for the people. Looks like you're going local Kyle, not a bad thing, actually pretty good in my mind. Also, hilarious when you were trying to convince you're full.
On a slightly prosaic note, does not Tet formally count down to the first dawn of the New year? I know Japanese Lunar New-Years(there are multiple) count the year ended at the sunset, and the New-Year begin at dawn, thus on the night betwix the two you are between this world and that.
kyle where can i find the tree of that fruit?? i've tried it once in Cambodia and i've been looking to find the plant to have it in my house in Cambodia.
BETTER EXPALITIONBasic definitions[edit] "First cousin once removed" redirects here. For the documentary film, see First Cousin Once Removed. The ordinals in the terms "first cousins", "second cousins", "third cousins", refer to the number of generations to one's closest common ancestor.[1] The number of "G" words used to describe this ancestor will determine how close the relationship is. For example, having "great-great-grandparents" in common would be third cousins. When the cousins are not the same generation, they are described as "removed". In this case, the smaller number of generations to the common ancestor is used to determine the degree, and the difference in generations determines the number of times removed. Note that the ages of the cousins are irrelevant to the definition of the cousin relationship.First cousins[edit] A child ("Sam") of one person ("Laura") and a child ("Ryan") of that one person's sibling ("Robert") are first cousins. First cousins share grandparents ("Joseph" and "Nancy"). Sam and Ryan are first cousins because they are non-siblings who share a pair of grandparents. JosephNancy GordonLauraRobertAngie SamRyan Second cousins[edit] The children of first cousins share a second cousin relationship. Second cousins share great-grandparents. People occasionally mistake the child of their first cousin as their "second cousin" - however that would actually be a first cousin, once removed. The removal denotes the generational difference. Dear Kyle Happy New year, and may you grow, growing new branches as you take root... May you be happy, and may your happiness through you grow, that you may know it surging in you and flowing out of abundance onto others. May you not want, but ever strive, knowing fulfillment and the beauty of seeking Perfection... May you be true, and take repose of with every year becoming more of yourself. May you know the sweet wine of friendship, that your friends may have the joy of truly calling you by the precious title of friend. May your loneliness be to you a muse, and love the music to your prose May your Fandom never fail, nor your subscribers forget. May you exult at the end of this year in the knowledge of having produced something that's worthy of the world.
based upon the last thing you said about Cuong, "My dad's father and his grandmother were brother and sister" because prior to that, you contradicted yourself. Please keep in mind that the westerners do not understand the eastern generational based way of titling family members. East Asians DO NOT have second and third cousins, they have uncles and aunts and great uncles and great aunts. You are second cousins but are the same generation so not "removed". Count the generations: you, your father, your grandfather = 3 generations; Coung, his mom, his grandmother = 3 generations as well so depending on whether your grandfather or his grandmother are older, you call him anh or em only, he does not call you Cau unless your first statement is true. You made two statements that were different. Happy titling Kyle!
The young man call your father as grand uncle because your father is young man grandmom cousin so it is a little complicated for you since you are not familiar to Vietnam family relate term. Hope you understand. Input from Bolsa/CA-USA
the way you vlog is very annoying. its obvious some people around you do not like the fact that you are filming them in the process. its stupid and makes people have a bad impression of you. oh well... you are the one being blamed, i'll just watch the vlog :)
+caco ko The way you COMMENT is very annoying. It's obvious some people around you do not like the fact that you are SPEWING NEGATIVITY in the process. It's STUPID and makes people have bad impression on you. oh well... you are the one being blamed, I'll just watch the vlog =)
