The best way I shop and save money from a teenager to present day, is that i started buying clothes from the previous season. Majority of the time companies do end of season sales, while everyone is shopping for the new and current summer season, i shopping for the winter and autumn seasons in preparation for what is to come :)

@@MiniFlix491 End of winter/start of spring: Shop for Fall/Winter pieces because the stores are starting to sell Spring/Summer items and need their Fall/Winter pieces gone to make space in the store for things that are in season. Same thing goes the other way around, you want to shop for your Spring/Summer stuff at the end of summer/start of fall. This is when the shops want to get rid of their summer stuff because they want to fill the shop with stuff that is relevant. After you've done this you hold on to the stuff you've bought for about half a year (you can of course wear them earlier on days where the weather allows it) and they'll be in season! The new collection for that season will go for top dollar, but you'll have yours bought for a bargain from essentially the year before. Hope this makes sense.
You have to keep in mind that if you are shopping online some of the items are made to be put on the "sale" section. Usually they made with cheaper materials and a cheap place like bangladesh instead of China
