- We spend our last days in Mindelo before we cross the Atlantic ocean to Suriname.
In these last days Vincent goes on a hike on the islandSanto Antão with the crew of sailing Eva. Check out their youtube channel aswell!
Then we go to the market to buy the last fresh produce which makes our boat ready to cross.
it will take about 2 to 2,5 weeks on the ocean before we see land again.
Before we leave we say goodbye to friends and all we have met the last week. Especially Harley mades new friends for life.
We also take you through our sail setup, and thgen itś time to leave Mindelo!
We show you how a day at the ocean looks like for us, and that means; "Back to basic"
We catch our own food and shower every 3 to 4 days with our bum sliding from starboard to port because of the showergel. Every daily task demands more effort on a moving boat.
We found our passage not easy, but thatś allways difficult to capture as filming in those conditions is the last thing you want and/or think about.

Hoi, een berichtje uit Dordrecht. We kennen jullie van het salsa dansen bij Jay. We hebben jullie vlogs gevolgd en we zien jullie wel eens opduiken bij sailing Eva en Tranquility. Maar nu mijn vraag zijn jullie gestopt met vloggen? We missen jullie filmpjes. Groetjes.
Hey Ria, sorry voor de late reactie. De filmpjes maken kost zoveel tijd dat het heel erg tegen is gaan staan. Zeker in gebieden waar er bijna geen internet is. Of niet te betalen. We willen wel afmaken wat we nog op de plank hebben liggen! Op het moment zijn we in Curacao en ook aan het werk om weer centjes te verdienen zodat we verder kunnen reizen.

At first it was to much work while travelling. Tha windward islands in the caribbean we went really fast trough them.
Internet was also terrible. Very expensive and nowhere to upload without staying there all day.
Then we landed in Curaçao where we immidiately started to work.
Now, upcoming november we start sailing again and i said to myself to make less nice video's, shorter maybe but at least they're coming online 😉👍
