Aside from the very low heat, the other benefits of Micro Missiles is that they fire so many missiles so quickly, that AMS is next to useless against them. They also have a custom targeting system to simulate the tabletop follow the leader missiles. Whatever the first missile hits, the rest will turn to hit that location. Fantastic for peeking cause you can torso twist after firing. Just don't miss cause the other 39 missiles will follow it right into that rock. They get buffs from SRM quirks, but not LRM or MRM. PK PPC does half as much damage as a tier 5 PPC, but AOE
Eh, yes and no. Solo is pretty much the only way if you want to 100% it and not be detected; but less salvage / money overall compared to just walking through it with a full lance if able. With a full lance, you can prevent the transmitting mechs and get oodles of salvage. If you are set up with proper murder mechs, you can just let them call the reinforcements and murder them, too. But that can be quite the challenge especially early on, if not *impossible* early on.
LRM's (Lvl 0) I have a 180 minimum range, so stay between 180 - 270 to alpha strike with both SRM's/LRM's. The number on the left for LRM range shows minimum range. As LRM level increase, minimum distance decreases (Can use them at slightly closer ranges). For Magpulse/Inferno missile weapons, their benefit lies in overheating the enemy mechs so you can take your time to headshot them. This is great for duels if you really want to get the mech if you aren't using Salvage V2.
So glad to get more MW5. 😀 Devils advocate here, but bringing a second light mech to a duel does at list give Pilot XP. If they're not really at risk and you have drop tonnage, it's always good to give the pilots more experience.
i think one of the things slowing your progress is you dont pick mech parts consistently, you have 3 assassin parts and you pick parts from a mech you have none of. you also had the opportunity to pick the cantina mission for collect a vulcan and you didnt pick it and sold your vulcan you may have got more cbills but you lost an upgrade point.
Man, ive been running your Yaml list plus a few more yaml mods and its been amazing. I wanted to try Merctech, but it seems i cant get any of the work arounds to work for me. Either way, amazing lancing, MechWarrior!

Your mod collection have some problems, in my opinion. Firstly, all visual mods are outdated (2-3 years of not been updated to game version). Second, Clan Invasion mod is kinda...half baked in terms of mech models and weapon balance, You should have more than enough Clan mechs with YetAnotherClanMech. Take a look at Yet Another Gah Dang Mech (awesome quality and lore mech models) Ultra Visual and Weather 2 (Beta) (upgrades game lighting to absolutely new level). You may also want to try Nostalgic Sounds Redux (NSR). But, once again, it's just a my humble opinion.
I agree with Clan Invasion being a half-baked mod; I removed it from my own YAML set up. However, Clan Invasion adds a lot of mech quirks which I enjoy, so I would recommend adding Yet Another Revamped Quirks to get interesting mech quirks back after removing Clan Invasion.
I still think you should do a FrankenMech Foray run. Yes, it doesn't work with things like the Pirates mod, but it's still something I think you'd find interesting to engage in.
Really like your Content, but maybe you should look after some new Games? Maybe some Warhammer 40K like Battlesector or Chaos Gate? Also "Infection Free Zone " would be cool, although its in Early Access.

The A.I. in this game is just such $#!T, my uncle and I play these together and we only go together or solo, no A.I. because you end up with repair bills that just suck all your profit away.
Again with the "follow me" for AI- in both cases it didn't do you good. Seriously, avoid this command like the plague, move them by using "go there" instead. Try it! Other than that, with two mediums it should snowball from this point onwards. Why not show off the modded 'mechs at some point?
Um...Sir? Unless there's something in your run that I missed, you don't lose the game if you can't pay your bills - the FIRST time. You just can't go to any other system until you've paid off your debt. You can still take jobs if you're on a planet that has them, though. You only "lose" the game if you make it ANOTHER 90 days without paying off your debt & your bills come due a second time.

If the Yellow jacket micro missiles act like standard mmls then they should be able to take either lrm or srm ammo. If I'm not mistaken of course.

I'd go with Endo on your Dervish. You gain 2.5 tons to play with. AMS w/ 1/2 ton ammo is 1 ton, ECM is 1.5 tons. There's your defense

When looking for cantina missions that need you to find an object, the mission title will tell you if it is in there.
I'd look into the other Hollanders; they seem to be much sturdier and much nicer build options

You sold 7 x LRM10 T0 for 40k each. It costs 20k each to upgrade them and T1 sells for 80k. You just missed out on 140k credits. :sadface:
