thanks for the video, been a digger operator from 1,5-45t for 9 years, and never seen one whit teleskop bomage, interesting, could have made some works way easyer back in the days. was all ready wondering about it beeing transported, but nice that you had that part of it in the end of the video.
The movable cab for better operator view looks like a nice feature. The attachment cycles fast. The lattice boom crawler crane sitting in the background could have done the same job with a clamshell bucket… if it was set up for it. However, this thing can clearly be moved from job to job much easier than say a 50-ton crawler crane. This is interesting. Thank you.
Danke!
I’d prefer a conventional lattice boom crawler crane and clamshell bucket any old day. Let’s see how productive it is when it has to reach out a bit. It’s a nice try but I’m certain that same machine won’t still be swinging mud like that 60 or so years from now like many old cranes that are still in use. One of the nicer things I see however is that it can probably be operated by a millennial where as an old crane has different requirements.
DREAM MACHINES I can see that as an advantage but also a good way for a guy to overload the bucket also. I agree, it’s a nice machine and I do appreciate the work and engineering that went into it. I still have great respect for the older cranes though. Always will. Thanks!
DREAM MACHINES And to add to what you said about the conventional cable clam not having mechanical down pressure, it actually sees a bit less than its own gravity (for down pressure) as the action of the closing line imparts a portion of “up” pull that is proportional to the forces required to “grab” or close the bucket. Some if not all clam buckets actually use ballast weights to help pull the bucket open under the resistance of pulling all of the rope back through the cable block that was used to close it. Still a marvelous invention and I will always enjoy using the old “dinosaur aged” CABLE clamshell.

This is my favorite machine. I will operate one, one day...
Sogar mit anschließender Verladung und Abtransport.
Ein echtes Traumvideo!!! DANKE
danke, freut mich wenn's gefällt!

This is really a huge advance.
I was an excavator myself for 36 years, I would have liked this part in the canal building.

very BIG LIKE....great machine, great operator...best wishes from Romania!
thank you!
Ganz großes Kino. Klasse Kameraführung und Tonqualität. Mehr geht nicht!! Bitte weiter so.
Bildquali könnt besser sein
should have had them back the trucks next to the hole so the 336F only needed to make a 1/4 turn to dump instead of half a turn.
caterpillar 336f cool videos
Îl' Love this machine ! 👍😜
i wonder how useful itd be for dregging
Danke!

that's a hell of a clamshell! lol awsum vid man
thanks man ;-)
Hey, the beacon on the end of the boom was not working!
wasn't pluged in yet, later it's working ;-)
This is heavy equipment porn...I could watch this all day.
:) Wirklich beeindruckend! Mach weiter so! :)
Schade, finde Teleskopmaschinen immer spannend.
i enjoy ur vids alot
great, thanks!

Lem Briggs a lattice boom crane can't operate with pressure on the clamshell...this one here can press it's bucket into the ground.

Why is the sign on the front of the Schwertransport in danish?
sometimes the truck has jobs to do in Denmark where you have to have such a sign.
That makes sense.
Reminds me of alien. Looks badass!
in Hamburg
and a train! don't get better then this
Must be a TML boom ?

Im thinking a bit of a dumb design. Just use a longer boom excavator
an excavator with usual long reach boom can't stand that close to the hole.
notice the color is not cat yellow but orange.is this a European thing?
orange is the color of the company "BD" who owns the excavator. On request CAT paints the machines in any color you want.
how deep can that dig
Jack Cleveland look at the video description, it's in english too!
für den baggerfahrer ganz schön langweilig
Ansichtsache...und er bekommt es doch bezahlt ;-)
