  • Happy Harassment Day!
4:10 Having women and men work together is like having a grizzly bear work with salmon dipped in honey.
11:17 I think that this is a way of kinda making it fair - that false accusations can be put on men.
22:43 I'm not gonna just say every woman is not being harassed, but there's, like, a thing where you go, "Look, man, stop touching me," and you just go to work.
Co-hosts Anthony Cumia & Gregg Hughes

It's even more ridiculous than the comparison to "should a man walk around with one of his balls hanging out?", because if a man wore something even as mild as a low cut v-neck at the office, it would be considered inappropriate and he'd get a talking to. Yet cleavage is way more distracting and walking around with that out at work is accepted.

I saw Patrice live at Caroline's like 20 years ago. I had seen his TV appearances prior to that and he was already at the top of my list of funniest people ever before any of the O&A appearances and Elephant in the Room, which was a masterpiece. Dave Chappelle showed up and went on before him and he killed. Patrice said "fuck it" since Chappelle went on for more than an hour "I ain't got shit to say" and proceeded to fucking destroy everyone he wanted to in the audience. I spoke to him and Rich Voz after the show and you felt like you knew him your whole life, he was that real.
A comedian can hit you at the obvious physical traits and the audience would laugh which is easy, we all do that. When Patrice did it he completely destroyed you and helped you at the same time. When you realize what he said to anyone could apply to you, you saved a trip to a psychiatrist. Because of him I can say to myself "You stink" "Im a piece of garbage" and "I ain't shit" and just laugh at myself.
I learned more from him than my own dad or older brother about women, philosophy, life in general. His legend will never die because I will never get tired of replaying his videos and audio.

Toe Knee - As polarizing as Opie is even Patrice acknowledged how he went to bat for him with Sirius management to get him his own show. Patrice initially didn't accept cause they were offering a sorry amount of money. O&A really gave Patrice and so many of those old school comics a platform before podcasts.

I worked a contract in this one office 10+ years ago. I was walking down an aisle and a woman was walking the other way. I looked at her, we made eye contact and she held it. She was moderately attractive. I broke eye contact, continued walking and a few seconds later turned around to see if she was looking at me. She was. I repeated this one more time. Seriously, the only reason I was looking at her is because she was looking at me. Anyway she complained to my supervisor. He gave me a warning and told me that this woman had done this same thing to several other men in the office.

Feminism screwed up a lot of women thinking they had to work a 9-5 instead of raising children. This is why I feel a lot of kids got cheated out of a good childhood bc the mom is always working and then when she gets home, she's too tired to care about what her kids are doing. Men have a certain role in the family dynamic as well but men have always been the workforce throughout history. Switching that all up makes for a really messed up society where people grow up in this country without the right guidance as a child. Which I think has been the plan all along....to break up the family dynamic. For example, there were a few years growing up where Id barely see either of my parents bc of their work schedules and Id come home to a babysitter. It felt really weird especially since we had just moved to a new area. Made me feel unwanted.
