- Come along for a full tour at night of the Adventureland Treehouse, inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson. The reimagined Adventureland Treehouse will open Nov. 10 in Disneyland Park, paying tribute to the original treehouse Walt Disney and his Imagineers built in 1962 in honor of the movie “Swiss Family Robinson.” The new Adventureland Treehouse will introduce a fresh story for the next generation of park goers to experience and enjoy.

It's delightful to see a new Disneyland project that isn't focused on a specific film or characters, just suits its land and is fun. This is spectacular and really unexpected! Please do more of this. Yes, everybody loves films and characters, but too much focus on those doesn't feel quite like Walt's sort. This does. It's also nice to see the organ AND the sheet music with the Swiss-ka-polka.
This is proof that attractions such as these are always a necessity. Everything doesn't need to be extravagant or complicated. It can be as simple, charming, and fun as this. I love it.
No lie, I was actually losing enthusiasm for Disney as the magic seemed to be fading a bit... But this video brought a tear to my eye. They've finally made something that has that level of magic again
I absolutely love the addition of all the animals and how fresh it feels. This is so Disney I love it.
Having just experienced this myself, I can say without a doubt this is the best iteration of the Treehouse. Every nook and cranny is filled to the brim with that CLASSIC Disneyland charm of amazing sets, adorable practical effects, and even a couple new animatronics!
And the fact that many of the kinetic elements and instruments are layered on top of the Swisskapolka is just the cherry on top; it just puts a big smile on my face and makes everything just feel so ALIVE. It’s pure Disneyland magic at its finest.

Finally letting the Imagineers, re-imagine Walt’s concepts in a good way.
This probably means they have a bunch of other cool projects they haven't revealed yet. I also love the new swisskapolka music. Maybe new and improved original Journey into Imagination next? Horizons???
I am so happy the treehouse is returning to the charm of the original Swiss Family Robinson house we loved. It looks new, yet familiar. Well done.
I can gladly say this was worth the wait, they took their time for something this special of an original attraction + call back to Swiss Family Robinson & Tarzan (easter eggs)

Their latest projects have had a lot of charm oddly (Frozen in Hong Kong & Zootopia in Shanghia). Especially compared to their Star Wars & Marvel projects. I’m liking their new stuff a lot
@@travelwithbubbait was odd at first when hong kong disneyland gets a ride from epcot, but then I got use to it now, plus HK disney needs all the expansion they can get to avoid being labeled as smallest disneyland park in disney history

I'd always longed for the charm of the original Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and this mended my heart.
SFR always inspired ingenuity and science in me. This version exceeds that.
This is something that I think Walt himself wishes was his design. Obviously, I haven't been yet but congratulations to the Imagineers who pulled this off.

Mother’s room sounds like the Fantasyland overlay! Great vid. I can’t wait to see the Treehouse in person and….hey, wait!…no escalators? I really like how well it was done, as well as the audio animatronics.
I believe that's the original swisskapolka music from the original tree.

It's as if they took the original Robinson treehouse, the Greystoke treehouse, and all the gems of The Jungle Cruise and created my dream home. I can hardly wait to visit this this coming spring on my next trip home...

Wow! I am so impressed with how this turned out! I was not expecting this to be anything other than a cheap makeover and instead I’m totally blown away. I have not climbed the Treehouse in years and years but I sure will on my next visit. Well done, Imagineers!

This is the best re-theme you have done in years! this is what we want and expect from Disney. I hope that you will form now on use this as a blue print for what we all expect from you and invest to make all old lands that need help (like tomorrowland) and new areas like this. I believe you can do it you guys just need to stop messing with creativity.
This looks so great!! 🥰 Even as a kid, I always thought the Tarzan retheming was kinda awkward and tacky. Them bringing the focus back to Swiss Family Robinson and infusing new updates and life into this attraction makes me so ridiculously happy!! Hats off to the Imagineers, this is fabulous. ❤ Also, love that they included the ostrich!! (The little family race with the ostrich was always my favorite part of the Swiss Family Robinson movie as a kid).

Well done! I was delighted to hear that the tedious Tarzan design was going away (I avoided it after experiencing it once.) The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse was always one of my favorite attractions. Though this new design takes liberties with the story, it's nonetheless an outstanding reimagining. Clever, creative, and engaging. Lovely touch to this musician: the keyboard having handwritten sheet music for the Sherman Brothers polka. I look forward to seeing this in person!

Too bad that they took the time to redo this attraction but couldn't find a way to make it 100% accessible. "the sketches and paintings on the ground level provide a glimpse of the rest of the home for those who can’t make the climb" - that is not an equitable experience for wheel chair users and others with mobility issues. Not sure the architects understand what accessible actually means.
Magnificent. Harkens back to Disney of the 60's and 70's, when imagination in creation was still being discovered. The imagineers really found their old soul in this one.
Except.... its a family of five, but I only saw rooms for 3. Did I miss something? (actual serious question)

This really has the charm of something that came out of the golden age of the Disney Parks. I’m absolutely blown away by the new treehouse! Fantastic job imagineers.
This looks incredible! Love to see a new attraction that is a completely unique idea/story original to the theme parks, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Country Bears, etc. Great work Imagineering, I hope we can see more like this in the future!
It's based off the 1960 Disney movie Swiss Family Robinson!
@@madisonowens2728 I know its inspired by it, but it's not a direct usage of IP. It's like how Pirates of the Caribbean has some inspiration from the scrapped Mickey Mouse movie "Morgan's Ghost", it's inspired by it but it's not a direct adaptation like something like Frozen Ever After or Peter Pan's Flight is.
I might be wrong but I am pretty sure this attraction already exists like that in Paris.

Congrats to the Disney Social Media team for getting out in front of all the DL Influencers that will be lined up on opening day to deliver "exclusive video". They can do what they want, but Disney is more than capable of telling it's own story. Good job!
I agree! Love the new approach Disney is doing. With full access after park hours hopefully will cut down on the massive ‘influencers’ who take over attractions.

Agreed! This is what imagineering is capable of! It seems new construction is completely void of animatronics and water features! This is beautiful!
They always do this with new attractions. The park is usually closed for cast members online when they film these previews. The early previews for the media including influencers is always after they showed it off themselves. Same happened with rise of resistance and Tianas bayou
I commend Disney for making an attraction that doesn't rely on IP for it's success. When this closed I was sure it was going to be rethemed to Moana or Encanto or something. Pleasantly surprised Disney let Imagineering use their own storytelling and make something that just feels 'Disney'. Love it!

I can in all sincerity say that this is WAY better than the Tarzan OR original SFR treehouse ever was. The amount of life they've inserted into the entire thing in such a small footprint is amazing. I was worried when they took the smaller tree and bridge out, that they wouldn't have enough space to do much. Officially Wowed!!

@@omi_god the original was stripped down completely in 1999 for Tarzan’s treehouse. And then once again in 2021 to create this new version. What I mean is that this has the charm, detail, and care of the early years of Disneyland that we all love so much.
