I did my A/L in 1999 and now I am working as Senior Telecommunication Manager/Engineer in out of Sri Lanla (Nokia Philippine). But I am not a student of Sir, but still I can revoke my maths knowledge by watching these videos. I salute you sir and I had similar teaching experience with my maths teachers experience in my life. a+b =1 අවස්ථාවෙදි aට විසදුම් දෙකක් එන්න ඕනෙ (+/-) කියල, ඒ අනුව bට විසදුම් දෙකක් එනව (-/+) කියල.
ඔක්කොම a,b විසදුම් යුගල් දෙකක් තියෙන්න ඕනෙ. ඒ හැර සර්ගෙ පැහැදිලි කිරීම් නියමයි.👍👍

Another great video.
You will have two sets of solutions since an and B are interchangeable.
Also the equation 2x^2-4x+9=0 can be analyzed without checking discriminant too.
2x^2-8x+9=2(x-2)^2 + 1 is greater than or equal to 1 for all real values of x and will not be equal to 0. So the equation has no real roots.
