No more themes immediately came to mind, but I do think the Lace Lovers dress made you look like a 10 year old dressed by Grandma for church. If I hadn’t seen all the other dresses, I would have thought it was nice, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the others! Every other dress was fantastic and fun!

First, I'm so happy you introduced me to this brand. As a plus sized lady in her 50s, I am shocked how hard it is to find this type/style of event wear in plus sizes that isn't old-lady/mother of the bride from the 80s. You know what I mean...a long boxy sequined top that goes over a long boxy pleated flowy skirt. *GAG * I love dresses that have a SHAPE! Thank you! Secondly: That grecian blue dress with the gold belt? *chefs kiss* but they all look fabulous on you!

You can't go wrong with any of them. You looked beautiful in each. I like the Siren Red and the Grecian blue the best. One bit of criticism, if it were me, I wouldn't wear a necklace with any of them. It detracts from the neckline. The dress is the statement. Just my opinion. Love watching you.

I have gone my entire adult life thinking ‘I will buy cute clothes when I’m thinner’ or ‘I don’t want to put a lot of money into clothes because I’m losing/gaining weight’. I am losing weight right now, but I have decided that I want to find things that make me feel beautiful right where I am. So far I’ve not seen a single dress that hasn’t looked bad on you. I have an apple sized body, it is not fun nor easy to find flattering dresses and yet you knock it out of the park every single time.

I like the Siren red, because it showcases your shoulders - it doesn't accent the broadness, it celebrates it just right. I usually don't like the cold-shoulder look, but this one does it right. The sleeves are nicely draped (I don't like my upper arms either, and I'm at least 20 years older than you, so... 😬) and the rest flows nicely to the hem. Second choice is the cobalt Grecian, with the belt, and side swept hair with half of a gold laurel wreath (or suitably substantial gold head piece, on the side) 🙂

You look great in all of them. The long sleeved one was verging on matronly, though. Off the shoulder is definitely amazing on you. You have beautiful shoulders, no back fat issues, and wonderful skin. Jewel tones are wonderful on you.
The chain belt just makes that blue dress. My favorites are the off the shoulder black dress and the red high neck cold shoulder dress. Runners up are the emerald and the sapphire dresses. You should consider keeping more than one at those prices. You look so good, you honestly have to worry about upstaging the bride.

Wow the first one is SO SLIMMING on you and looks fabulous! The 1st black lace looks the best on you and so complimentary to your bust line, hair color and skin tone. The last one is too wide for you and broadens the appearance of your shoulders and bust. The sleeves also point down in a way that accentuates your inner arms too much. Nice variety of dresses. I’d buy one!

Wow, you hit the jackpot on the dresses. As a tall plus size women with an Apple shape there are not to many women that do try on hauls for me to follow. I am happy I found this video. I have not checked out City Chic in a while. I think I will have too. I like all of the dresses. You can’t go wrong with any of them.

Nothing better than shopping for a fancy dress and, once again, you found an amazing source and lent you sparkling charm to the ooo-la-la session. So, fun!
The comment section covered all the bases on just about every point, so I’ll TRY to be brief-HA!
They all looked amazing on you, except the overall lace dress. It immediately reminded me of the “okay but not really pretty” dresses plus sized women were stuck wearing until recently. Thankfully, your other choices showed the difference.
Ultimately, you need to pick the one that made you feel beautiful. However, I will say, the sleeves on the black lace glamour dress was amazing on your arms-I found myself reviewing it again and again. Definitely, a masterful design element.
A classic, that I would stretch the budget to keep.
And, lastly, since this is our BFF chat, I thought the navy blue was gorgeous, just the way you styled it with the pearls. I loved the idea of the straps but I think they were too small for the dress-they looked like strings.
This is one of those dresses that needs to go to the tailor for more customized, more substantial straps and fitting. Probably not worth money and effort but I will say I thought of Catherine Zeta Jones when that dress flashed on the screen.
As for ideas! As mentioned in the comments I loved to see a video on shape wear especially strapless bras. Also, I’d love to see a video about “the day of”- the big reveal (which dress you chose), getting ready and a “wee bit” of the wedding if appropriate/allowed.

I think my favourite is the emerald green one, followed by the black with the lace bodice (it looks incredibly chic on you). The grecian blue is very pretty too. The red one was nice but not my favourite. The others didn't wow me at all. Let us know which one you choose.

For a wedding, I would suggest any of the shorter dresses. I would also recommend keeping the $20 dress. It's going to be perfect for many occasions. As for the wedding... I liked them all! What a dilemma you have. If your favorite is the red dress, get that one. It looked gorgeous on you.

You look great in all of them. My favorites are the red, blue, green, red/nude lace, black with nude lace. the solid black is good but others are better and the only one that was so-so was the black lace with sleeves. Good choices and hope you had fun at your wedding.

The red was flattering on you, but the most important thing was your attitude. You said that the red made you feel beautiful, and that is IT, girl! Embrace it! The black form fitting with lace top was extremely flattering as well. The blue is a gorgeous color and simple but loving cut. Very nice! I don’t really think that you could go wrong with any of them. They all looked nice. I just think you looked happiest in the red.
