Easy Breezy Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лис 2020
- In my attempt to come up with a Holiday recipe in the form of a snack a pineapple cheese ball came to mind. So, I went out, bought the supplies, made it, and the outcome was simply superb. Made with a combination of Philadelphia cream cheese, pineapple, red bell peppers, onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt, the outcome is simply to die for. Roll this in some crushed pecans or walnuts, place some crackers around the side, and your friends and family will simply love it. As a matter of fact, it got to the point where I make this up every Christmas or special occasion.
As always, you can alter the ingredients according to your liking. For example, a few drops of tabasco sauce, just for some heat, would not be out of place. In my opinion, pepper does not seem to fit the bill but it's entirely up to you. I like the fresh pecans, but you can use walnuts or even peanuts for that matter.
There are, however, a few simple suggestions to make the recipe easier to execute. In example, ensure that the cream cheese is it room temperature. That way, the dish is much easier to put together. Also make sure that the pineapple is well drained. I always use crushed pineapple in the can, but you could use pineapple tidbits or even whole pineapple rings and cut them up. It's simply a matter of personal preference.
Watch the video, give our pineapple cheese ball at try and, as always, let us know what you think.

Back in the early '70's when my first husband was a teacher, no staff party was complete without the cheeseball :P
That is so true at any time or era. Hope you try it.
Cheeseballs were the only thing I ate when I was small, cant wait to re-create my childhood moments :)
Yummy! Will make this! Love the pecans all the way around it!
Great. Hope you enjoy. I make it for the Holidays every year.
Can't wait to try this. Cold days in Colorado is a perfect time for a good cheese ball snack. Thanks gor sharing

They once made cream cheese with pineapple, I loved it. Now you can only find cottage cheese with pineapple which I love. Pecans are my favorite, the red pepper and onion just puts this over the top ! Ritz crackers here we go !

Anything you add cream cheese and pineapple to has to be delicious and I absolutely love cheese balls, lol. Back in the 80's I worked in a bindery factory as a temp. The company people had a small factory party around Thanksgiving and this lady who worked there made a giant cheese ball and it was so good I couldn't stop eating it 😂. Could not get her to share her family recipe but to this day I haven't had one as good as hers was. I must have missed some of your videos because this is the first I've heard of a knife drawing. I love knives for sure lol. Tyfs God bless you
Hi Debbie. Yes, I love cheese balls too. You will enjoy this one for sure. I will put your name into the draw.

Certainly doing that for our Christmas dinner. Especially for the hot weather we have in South Africa over Christmas that will be perfect. PS: All I want for Christmas is for David to reach 1.000.000 subscribers.
You are so kind. That's what we want to. Then, it's celebration time. Hope you enjoy the cheese ball.
This looks and tastes great. I might try it with a variation: instead of using entirely cream cheese I might substitute part of the cream cheese with Mascarpaone and crushed pistachios instead of pecans.👍 (I do want in the knife draw, I reside in the USA).
Hi. Sure. I think that would be good. I will put you in the draw. *
Love your recipes! Thank you for sharing 💐

I’m definitely going to make this today! It looks delicious, but I’m making it smaller since I only have 1 block of cream cheese!!
Sounds great! Sure you can make a smaller one. Hope you enjoy.
1 block of cream cheese sounds like a "single serving" to me..... LOL LOL
Festive looking cheese ball - thanks! I call it Spicy Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball. I added cayenne pepper and Sweet & Tangy Beijing Sauce instead of Worcestershire sauce. Yummy!

Where's the pepper, Dave? lol
Hi Sue. I thought of that but didn't think pepper would match. You can try it if you like.
I messed up. I used fresh pineapple and I guess it wasn’t ripe enough . Make sure that you use canned.
Hi Diane. Yes, very good point. Sorry it didn't turn out well.
