I have to replace my driver door handle but the black piece is still on the door I'm going to try this method but I feel I will have to take the whole panel apart to get thr handle changed. I too have a new handle from car parts but it's much different than the handle currently left there without a cover. I have an Infiniti QX56. I will see how this goes.
Thank you for the video. I was having problems with my 2007 Murano. Your tip about the magnet was the key to getting the lock piece off. Putting the lock and screw back in was an issue, but when I put a little pressure on the lock the screw went right it. Thanks again.
