I just went to the store today too. I had to buy 6 pounds of ground beef, 2.5 pounds of chicken tenderloins, corned beef, chuck roast, ham hock, bacon, ham because my husband has a hankering (8 pound ham always $28) plus veggies and fruits, plus snacks and yogurts (20 yogurts! And two big tubs of protein yogurt for me) all the frozen waffles and pancakes, soap, chips (why are chips so expensive!!!) bread, cheese…so much cheese, and lunch meat, peanuts for the crows, hamburger buns, I racked up a $500 bill today. I’m hoping it gets us through the rest of Christmas break. I have 4 kids, two of which are double digit ages, 2 of which are single digit ages, then me and the husband. I’m just glad I didn’t also have to buy dog food, cat food, and chicken food today. I would have had a heart attack and died.
I don't have to guess that you're a Midwestern Mama based on the amount of cheese in yr groceries & specifically a Michigan Mom based on the word POP for soda!!! Happy Holidays!! 🌟✨🎄✨🌟
OMG! I can’t believe the price! That’s fantastic! This would be about $370-399 where we live in northern Kentucky! (About 25 minutes south of Cincinnati) I’m always fascinated with how different the cost of living is in different states. Just covering the bare minimum of our bi-weekly grocery shopping is about $280 and that doesn’t include milk and eggs which we get from my mom. (She has chickens and we get local milk not from the store) and no snacks, just the main meals. We eat similarly to your family.
I guessed way too high based on the number of bags you had. I'm thinking of doing a Walmart grocery delivery. I did it for some other stuff and it worked great for me. I had my things delivered sooner than I could have driven to the store and found a parking spot
Dr Pepper is superior to every other pop. My sister will throw hands if you try to give her Diet Coke instead of Diet Pepsi. I was that way til I discovered Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar. For a bit they had caffeine free which I needed, but they stopped so I’ve added Sprite Zero as my nightly pop, because I’m having the world’s most annoying insomnia while I have the Winter Ick. We usually buy more cheese than we have brains, so I feel ya. I’ve found great wisdom in many of your cooking tutorials, so thank you and keep up the good work.❤❤❤❤
Her last name is public knowledge. Just ask Google what her surname is and I'm sure it will immediately give it. So long as her address is not visible.
Hita take your kids on an outing and buy your own groceries that way you can check the freshness of everything you buy. I have seen these people getting your groceries and they could care less what they pick as far as the expiration date or freshness. UGH!
Wow! That was a good price!

Gurrrl you consistently get grocery hauls in the roundabout $200-275 range. Just makin' note😉👌😘
Here, that would be over $400!!! I'm so surprised that you got it all for under $200!!! Woah, I wanna move to wherever you are! 😆😆
Careful what you wish for….

My groceries are 50% drinks, mostly sparkling water, 30% snack foods, 20% essentials 😂
I was thinking around $300. That price seems so cheap!
Holy krap where do you live?!??? I wish I could get all that for under $200! I was guessing $385 or something.
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that you're trying to fool us into believing there isn't a price gouging crisis
$400 btw
This automatically happens with unrestrained capitalism.
I don’t know if you realize or if you care but your last name is on the sticker on that bag and it’s visible.

I guess $325. Also, how much are your 18ct eggs? Ours are almost $7.00 here in Arizona.
Four bags of broccoli makes sense now that I see all the cheese.

Turkey sticks? Are they like beef jerkey? I don't think I've ever seen them before.
Protien, non carbs. Sick of just snacking on nuts.
@@t.s.fleming7171 yes! Cheapest at Aldi tho!
