Elden ring was the first Fromsoft game I got on release, and this song perfectly encapsulates how I felt playing it in those first few days. The consistent use of "we" in this song really cemented that feeling of being part of a much larger force setting foot in the lands between.

I did not played Elden Ring when you first released it because of a lack of time, I thought the song was nice, an Aviators song I could enjoy sometimes, but nothing that was truely groundbreaking on my first hearings. "The old gods were all felled by a mortal unnamed" will live in my head until the end of time.
3:31 Out of the dark harmonic mists the Elden Ring hero’s main melodic theme drifts in; with determination it makes it’s statement of purpose, and then vanishes back into obscurity. This is a wonderful example of marrying the text with the music. Bravo!
I absolutely LOVE how the tempo(?) of the song. It almost feels like a ballad being passed down from person to person. Also is it just me or is the rhythm kinda unique. Like it doesn't sound like your typical 4/4 or even 3/4 which imo makes the song sound even more unique. If I had to compare it to something it probably sounds the closest to "to the grave"(ironically another aouslborne inspired game)
From what I can tell the music is in 6/4 time but the lyrics have a really interesting call-and-response pattern that sounds more like 2/4 time than anything else. It’s really interesting and somehow works incredibly well.
Yeah, it's definitely a call-and-respond pattern. I can't fully place the time signature. But it's also slower than your typical call-and-respond rhythms. The best example I can give is listening to military cadences then this song. Any cadence is actually more like a jog than a steady walk, if this makes any sense.

Thank you. This song made me feel better. Now with this song, I imagine that my love went to fight in the world that she loved indescribably. And after the required number of cycles - I will be on the same battlefield with her, shoulder to shoulder
Thank you. I've suffered more than this until now.
Great song! You know what makes this - in my opinion - the best open world ever created? Every single location in the video, i can exactly tell you where it is on the map and how you can find it. That's an incredible achievement in my opinion.
This is another top tier song. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I think this is my favourite work from you yet, not just the fantastic song, but the video cinematically highlighting some of the most incredible moments in what may be the greatest game of all time.
When I saw the notification, I immediately took a listen to it and wow what a great track of redemption. To rise and conquer monsters is how a warrior does in Elden Ring. This is giving me some great vibes from Let There Be Fire album but in a more calm way.
It is quite brazen that the music of madness continues. We will rise from the grave to a glorious world.
And once again you have managed to make such amazing scores! You can tell that each and every song this artist writes is passionately and carefully crafted.
I give you my greatest thanks for being such a stupendous inspiration to me and every listener out there.
"We're following into the black" being foreshadowing for a Berserk song was nuts when I made the connection. Especially since ER really only exists because its great great great grandpa is Berserk.
I love the oddly whimsical and hopeful tone of this song.
" Through the scarlet mist, for the maidenless ... " NO MAIDENS ? TOUCH GRACE BRO
We're entering new era of Aviators' masterpieces.
Good track.Hey,I'd like to ask a couple of questions:
1) Do you make music by yourself or do you have any assistants?
2)Do you find to difficult to find inspiration and write lyrics?
3) Why "Aviators"?(if it's too personal,you don't have to answer)
4)Do you have any favorite songs that you have already created?
P.S: Sweet dreams are orrated.
Actually, yeah I'm intrigued on the name Aviators too. I like to think it's cause of the aviator sunglasses he has on in the pfp, but I could be wrong.
@@venandisicarius32 he has said before on stream that (and this is paraphrasing from memory so i could miss some details here), something like that he was an "edgy 14 year old" who always wore aviators, people starting calling him "aviators" irl, then that became his nickname for stuff including music.
@@bluesolarisii-oscar I will keep it on mind
I know it’s not intentional, but I find it funny that the parenthesis at point 3) implies that he HAS to a,swear the other ones xD
I’ve been waiting patiently
This kinda reminds me of an earlier aviators work also about the souls series and that being The Red Hood the vibe , melody and even the lyrics give me a sense like it is the same song but new and with diferent themes
Somebody help, I've listened to this song maybe one hundred times this week. I can't stop.
This is probably my favorite song from yall, and it's a real nice change of pace having a more hopeful Soulslike song
Well imo fire again is pretty hopeful
Ah damn I used to listen to alot of aviators like 4 years ago and subbed again recently. This is so nostalgic
These songs are a huge part in why Fromsoft games are so supremely important to me - this ballad of the emotions the game presents on you just makes the journey feel that much more grandiose, and they all make me want to keep fighting no matter what the odds are. Thank you for making these, Aviators!
also "The old gods were felled by a mortal unnamed" goes hard as BALLS
That line is preceded by "When kings rise against, have it writ on their graves"
It's not just a badass line, it's a WARNING
I haven't clicked on a notification that fast in a long time. I was hoping we would see some songs on Elden Ring 😁
Elden ring was the first Fromsoft game I got on release, and this song perfectly encapsulates how I felt playing it in those first few days. A lone tarnished in a wave of thousands, all of us doing our best to conquer this new world and it's challenges. The consistent use of "we" in this song really cemented that feeling of being part of a much larger force setting foot in the lands between.
4:00 is my favorite scene and the lyrics that go with it.
It was a nice pause. The song is also very catchy too.
The song invokes the nostalgia of the beautiful boss battles! Simply awesome!
imagine being able to perfectly to capture the feels of any soulsborne game into a song
"We rise unburdened again" Having lost all my runes is not something I count as good, but I like the otimism.
Yes! Always love it when a new aviators song comes out! Excellent work as always!
Hey aviators back awesome.
This sounds and looks like an Intro to a banger series.
It's the fucking greatest song i've ever heard, it gives so much hope.
and once again, another MASTERPIECE of a song
For a second, I thought the thumbnail says “we irish”
This game is such a trove of music waiting to be made and this is a fantastic first track to come from it.
When he said "for the maidenless" I felt that
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
From the MLP fandom to Elden Ring, damn. Not many artists I’ve listened to for 10 years, but Aviators pulled it off.
From all who call the streets of Yharnam home, may the good blood guide you Tarnished Ones.
When Elden Ring got revealed, this is one of the things I was most looking forward to. Didn’t disappoint
I am in LOVE with the 6/8 meter here, and the vocals are a masterclass in intonation and purpose!
its here.
this song goes hard! feel free to rewatching iit
Now I have something to vibe to while I get completely obliterated by bosses! Awesome! Beautiful shots of those bosses too, Maliketh looking absolutely awesome in all his glory!
Another masterpiece, thank you! And perfect timing, just beat the game a few days ago. What a journey, truly.
As epic as the the game that inspired it, this will be topping my playlist for the next several months! Thanks so much for your amazing work!
Well… thou art of passing skill. Musician blood must truly run through thy veins… Aviators.
Спустя месяцы, ты вернулся к нам, как же я рад этому. Твой голос всегда завораживает.
I waited a long time, I was patient, I never gave up hope, and finally here you are with a song about ER. Well done! Greetings from Italy!
Another Banger from Aviators
I did not played Elden Ring when you first released it because of a lack of time, I thought the song was nice, an Aviators song I could enjoy sometimes, but nothing that was truely groundbreaking on my first hearings.
And then I played it. I played it all. I immersed myself, I discovered it, sometimes the game made me laugh or shed a tear. And I saw "We rise" in my spotify playlist. "Hey, let's listen again, i'm in the mood for it.
Everything dawned on me. Every single implications of your lyrics, the power behind it, the meaning. It broke me in a good way. It's a pure and incredible love letter. I loved what you did for the souls series, I only needed the experience of Elden Ring to once again be spirited away.
"The old gods were all felled by a mortal unnamed" will live in my head until the end of time.
10 seconds but a banger, let's gooooo
The return.
O' you don't have the right!
Avi back at it again with an absolute banger of a song
3:31 Out of the dark harmonic mists the Elden Ring hero’s main melodic theme drifts in; with determination it makes it’s statement of purpose, and then vanishes back into obscurity.
This is a wonderful example of marrying the text with the music.
Bravo!
Been here since Dark Souls, keep it up
Yeah you Elden those Rings! Sounds amazing btw!
Almost missed this because of youtube not giving me notifications.
Speechless. Cant say much more. Incredible as usual.
Ayyyy let's go my boi is back to drop another banger
Бог ты мой! Без шуток, проронил несколько горячих слёз пока слушал эту чудесную песню
Watching the boss fight footage in slow motion shows how cinematic the fights actually are. Its not as easy to appreciate their beauty in the moment.
I love this and have listened too it so much. I hope you do a song on the Frenzie Flame. I think your style is perfect for it.
Finally the legend has returned
Any cadence is actually more like a jog than a steady walk, if this makes any sense.
this song hypes me up just got the game and cant wait to finally play it
