How can you talk about, or even brag about the rich people in the Philippines, when 90% of people live below the poverty line, I'm tired of hearing about rich people and how good they have it, but yet the government don't give a damn about hard working poor people! Must learn to share the wealth, it's enough money to go around for every citizen.
They are not rich girls dining at BGC . They are call center agents on their work break .. or they are done on their 8 hours work job….the rich families are recognizable the way the dress up and mostly socialite…take notice bgc buildings occupied by BMO & call center’s establishments…
Anyone who afford to dine at the classy resto of BGC are considered rich, it may be class AA, A or B. Class C can't afford there

I'm European, most Philippines walking tours I have been watching on UA-cam is usually in a broke-af neighbourhood with loads of trash, but this is a complete & utter surprise.

@@narunaru6249 there are plenth of places to move in bgc condos and apartments..living in the vicinity in Kapitolyo is alright as well as it has a bridge connecting bgc which should be very near.

Isa sa mga lugar sa Pilipinas na may matinong urban planning. Sana sa future ma apply sa ibang city or probinsya

Ganun talaga pag malawak na lupa un binili at pagmamay-ari ng malaking corporation. Eh bago lang yan na na-acquire from Philippine government kaya maayos talaga ang urban planning unlike ng Manila na panahon pa ng Espanyol un mga kalsada at di na napalawak. Tignan mo un sa MOA banda, bago lang din yun. Na-land reclamation at pag-aari ng private company kaya maayos din un urban planning.
Sa ciudad na lang, huwag na sa probinsya.
Forbes Town is kinda like a modern Baguio Session Rd where you have two sidewalks filled with restaurants and the like on both sides while taking in the character of the street as you walk the circuit with a rotunda at the end. Of course this ones flat instead of uphill/downhill.

Hey Manila Girl my dear friend, Forbes Town BGC is awesome. When I was in Manila, me and my friends went through some of BGC. It's very beautiful, clean, but super expensive. We at a few of the restaurants there. I definitely love the huge mall there. I have notice now , the abundance of food trucks, which is good for those who want a quick bite to eat. Food trucks! Niiice. I didnt see that much ten years ago! It was pretty much the brick and mortar restos and bars, which was already quite nice to begin with.

The rich part of Manila is Forbes Park in Makati where famous and super rich people live. They do not walk around their exclusive village. They have drivers. This is Forbes town in Taguig, not a rich place. It does not look rich.

With the huge maintenance fees they charge residents of BGC , It would be nice if they would maintain the sidewalks and clean the litter.

I visited the Philippines last year and went to Manila, Cebu, El Nido etc. One thing I thought was why do you bother painting zebra crossings on the road? In Australia they are safe crossing areas where a car must stop for you. In Manila, everybody drives straight through them and they are very dangerous. Tourists need to learn that fast!

i can say animal care is really much better in some other countries
It’s primarily because the Philippines is very car centric, thus most car owners think that they are more entitled to the road. It’s different in bgc tho where the pedestrian lanes are enforced since most residents in the areas are wealthier than the average filipino.
@@manilagirltours8940zebra crossing is pedestrian lane in the uk and australia. They say zebra crossing because it looks like the stripes from zebras.

BGC is not a city by itself. The city is Taguig. It’s a private entity that’s why it’s clean , orderly, and well maintained. It’s paid for by the residents and businesses. These stores and restaurants pay at least 300K pesos each month.

you can take the bus to BGC at the side of Ayala MRT terminal. Ask the guards where to ride going to BGC. However, when going to this side, you will be walking a long walk to go here

Wow. Tagal ko na d naka uwi ng philippines 😅 . For more than 10 years, i heard lots of changes daw. I left when I was 14 or 15 years old i think but now im 35, lol. I definitely need to go back n experience ung childhood memory b. I wanna sing christmas song around the neighborhood for xmas, mag simbang gabi, mamalengke, eat exotic food sa tabi tabi, shopping sa divisoria. Honestly ayan ang feel kung gawin since thats what i miss pero ill still visit this place to see kung ano meron or just the same here in state.
