The art style and colour design on this game is so on peak, that they managed to make a bunch of Hulk-clones look distinct just by using a different shade of green.
They also seemed to be very aware of the graphical limitations and actually made the style work within them, nothing really looks outdated because it's all stylized with simple shapes and texturing. The same can't be said for a lot of other games.
Easily my favorite Hulk game where they used some of his villains from the comics.
Like ravage, madman, half-life, and flux, I wish they were more media.
They would have put Zazz, Abomination,Mising link,Tyranuss,Bi- Bestia ,Absorbing man ,etc

Yes, I actually enjoyed their designs in this game. What's funny is that I didn't even know Hulk had this many villains. I only knew of abomination and absorbing man. Never heard of these villains featured in the game. If Hulk gets another solo film, I wouldn't mind seeing one of these villains make an appearance.

Ravage/ Dr. Geoffrey Pritchard was underrated in the comics and rarely used as a reversal for Bruce Banner.
The only instance they did they didn't even use him really, they used a proxy character in The Incredible Hulk tv show with Lou Ferrigno
YEAH!!! This is the REAL Hulk! And the villains are awesome! The videogames are the only places where Hulk villains are well used.
Yea the only Hulk villain you see in the shows/movies is Abomination and Leader here and there but there’s so many cool Hulk villains they can utilize in the MCU like I’d love to see Madman who fun fact is the brother of The Leader

Between The Hulk (2003) game and the original Spider-Man 2, those were the best fun Marvel Games. Marvel Nemesis was okay too, I guess. Better than what Marvel is putting out now.

For some reason as a kid, me and my brither enjoyed the Flux boss battle. It wasn't just the fight. But his hilarious lines whenever we pick him and mess around with him.
Flux : Put me down darlin!!!! or Sweetheart!!!
Flux in the comics is child-like with mom issues, so it was hilarious to see him in-game.

I didn't know hulk had a rogue gallery. Most of the time it's either the abomination, the general or other heroes he's having beef with.
Yeah there's still a bunch others, too. Zzax, the U-foes, even Rhino was a Hulk villain for a time.
I didn't even know who half life was in the hulk comics till i revisited this game...and realized he was an actual hulk villain
The only problem with the game is the villains just never shut the hell up

@@JacobcoleyrayWhat's worse is that Ravage is incredibly annoying to fight, he counters most of your attacks and then does his 3 hit combo.

I remember struggling with the ravage fight a lot and the gamma dogs were annoying but otherwise i loved this game, it was between this and ultimate destruction.

I got my first ps2 with this game and I loved it! Unfortunately my parents didn’t know what a memory card was so I had to restart every time I played

I would have still played Ultimate Destruction over this as a kid but this was still a good game
Ultimate Destruction had the better gameplay. But this...this had the bosses I wish were in Ultimate Destruction.
In terms of cameos, this game has better story than ultimate destruction

My question when I played this when I got it at one point was "does this take place after the movie? Or before or a separate timeline that evokes all the prior knowledge from the hulk '03 movie?"
This game serves as a sequel to the movie, taking place a few years after the events of the film.
I literally sure looking angry freaky villians like Hulk sometimes.

A shame the bits where you play as Banner were so damn annoying. But otherwise, its really solid. Especially since it makes use of Hulk's rogue's gallery

Me neither. I looked them up and saw that they're basically Hulk villains. If marvel had continued to make solo hulk films like they did with the other characters, we probably would've seen them on the big screen by now.

Better animation than the movie
All you do is spam the same broken move. Not good to watch
If you actually played the game and understood how the bosses fight, spamming is the best option to use. You can't block or counter attack in this game. If you do attempt regular combos against these bosses, all they end up doing is interrupting your combo by using one of their moves or spam grabbing you. And since grabbing them keeps you safe from taking damage, it's the best move to use and makes the fight much easier.
Guys, Hulk ultimate destruction is way much better kkkkkkk
All you do is Grab. It’s boring.
