Waves travelling outside and inside of madelbrot shape. In mandelbrot, however, the wave speed is limited and, thus, those effects of increased frequency appear.
This is a cool animation but because the Mandelbrot set is a fractal you can’t figure out how the waves should bounce off it. No matter goes far you zoom in, it will never smooth out to a surface you can find the normal of.
