Should we do a Part 2 where we show the next 25 best cities in the world? Cities like Auckland, Perth, San Francisco, Madrid, Cape Town and more? You can make some recommendations as well…
Yeah, I was surprised by how cool Sydney got. I was there in winter; mid-July. Thankfully, I'd spent the previous 10 days in New Zealand, most of which was spent in Queenstown, so I had the appropriate clothing. But I was walking around Sydney with a heavy peacoat on. I had no idea it got that cool there. Also, I found public transport to be fascinating. I'm from 30 miles outside of New York City, so to see Sydney's super clean metro system with those double-decker trains was fascinating. I had no idea they even had a subway system.
Strongly recommend (re?)visting Georgetown, Malaysia, Budapest, Hungary, San'a, Yemen, Chongqing and Shanghai, China, Isfahan, Iran, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur, India, Beirut, Lebanon and Lisbon, Portugal.
You can all named that cities likes Vegas, Tokyo, New York City, Ho Chi Minh City, Beijing, Salt Lake City & much much more all around the world!🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎
Rio's metro population is 13 million, and Bangkok's is 14 million, Seoul's is 24 million -'metro' in the US (which is regional and can take in areas the size of small country's with low density and mostly farmland) is different to metro definitions everywhere else, which tend to be conurbational. For example if London counted itself the same way NYC does, in density and catchment, it would rise to 22 million (if not more - 90% of the NYC metro is less dense the entire country of England, pop 57 million)
Very good list. Fortunate to have visited most of those cities. As a Montrealer, (and even if I wasn't) there is no way Toronto would make the cut. Personally speaking, and at the risk of offending anyone, which I'm sure I will, I think Singapore, San Diego, Vancouver and Sydney are overrated. The latter two are actually somewhat similar, they have beautiful settings but the actual cities themselves are just average. Much prefer San Fransisco or Melbourne. Glad to see Athens on the list- it's underrated. And of course Montreal and your shout out to Quebec City. The very next tier for me might include cities such as Lisbon, Hanoi and Buenos Aires. Keep up the good work.
It’s all up to ones personal preference . You can make your own list and post it here. Ive been to some of these cities and FOR ME San Diego, Singapore, Vancouver, Toronto and Sydney are not overrated at all.
Are you talking about the best cities or beautiful cities? If you are talking about beautiful cities then I am surprised, you don't mention Shanghai, Chicago, Moscow, Shenzhen, Osaka etc.

It really pisses me off when people gloss over the fact that tortured dog is a popular cuisine in South Korea and China.

They are included in top 50 but not in top 25
You might want to check the correct pronunciation of some of these locations!
Okay thank you
For someone that's so well traveled your pronunciation of things is not good.
Ny City, watch out for the bullets.
