I tolerate them but I do think they're too broken rat Han and ug4 especially because tell me why it feels like they do damage even through type advantage, tell me why u can't catch them on the side step for their guages like ultra instinct, tell me why the legends limited units can't compete with the ultras that drop around the same time for example omega shenron(green) dropped before a purple ultra...like damn. What I will say is rathan has put the other ultras in a power creep cause tbh ultra vb can't do nothing against a blue unless u land the skill based!!! It’s actually true that anniversary ultras fall off faster when compared to legends festival ultras. Ultra ssj gogeta was good till tag Droids that released in April. He got resurgence when ultra ssj vegito came but the moment cooler was released ultra Ssj Vegito was removed from the meta … and that lasted only a few months Ultra vb didn’t last long due to the insane ultra janemba and characters that were releasing more defence gimmicks . Look at legends festival ultras ; ultra UI ultra gogeta blue ultra ssj gogeta all were meta relevant for months.
if i have the choice between spending all of my cc on not getting an ultra or spending my cc on getting a meta LF, then i'm gonna get the LF because with ultra banners you either get nothing or ass. OR you temporarily become the luckiest person on the planet and get the ultra.

Then I must've some amazing luck because I've pulled every ultra since UUI (except Gohan). And that too within the range of 1k CC to 10k CC, which is good for a F2P.
And then once you DO Get the new ultra, you only get to play with it for about 1-2 months or even a few weeks before the next ultra gets released that hard counters your ultra and congrats you just wasted all your CC on a dead character. Power creep is truly peak.
Ultras are a great concept no doubt about it, but the moment they put gamebreaking abilities like the auto counters is the day the game started to become bad, also they aint slick making the new ultra units so ungodly op that you have to play like a lobotomized chicken while your opponent has to basically perform a brain surgery blindfolded just to win the match, then making sure that the next best possible unit is at least 2 years old is diabolical, for shame legends, for shame.
They had to start giving em op abilities so people would pull for em with them trash ass drop rates 😂 I got ultra gogeta and skipped every ultra after until UI came out because most Lfs were just as good
It's not just about Ultras at this point. I feel like the power creep between units over the years has become so bad that a new Sparking unit can easily outperform a year old Ultra. Take Evil Buu and UL Rose as an example. I know this is a bad example, but the fact that a regular Sparking unit is better than an Ultra speaks volumes.
They ruin the game since the beginning when beerus zenkai first LF and only beerus LF went to nothing so basically you cant play because every unit is limited to some season buffs
So you always have to chase and spend as much money as possible to max out the new characters, 99% of the other characters in the game are obsolete. The grind isn't even fun because the characters you spend months maxing out are irrelevant in the new patch.
Another thing to mention is how fast they get countered - usg, 2 months later kaioken goku which shut down all his combos and brought back vados which he couldn't deal with, usv, 3 months later you get red cooler the LITERAL BANE OF HIS EXISTENCE, ultra broly literally 2 weeks later got bodied and knocked off the top 10 the SECOND blue beast dropped, ultra rose - 3 months later goza comes out and consistently ONE SHOTS him, following them came uvb who got blues after Blues after blues after blues after blues right after he released, speaking of said blue that annhilated uvb, ultra janemba - 2 month and he went from 1 to barely even top 10 from the ultra ui meta And then ultra ui as i said, a month and a half later gets HARD countered by s17 💀 almost unplayable against him. Then ultra rat dropped, he was gohaning all over pvp which is typical but then gets hard countered by many purple unuts coming out right after, ugf, napgeta AND ug4 And then up to current date, ugf and ug4 both get decimated by the new Vegeta (whos gonna have the same thing happen to him 😅) It feels like a genuine scam to go for these ultras, they fall off so hard because of directed counter after counter (except a few) that to me it just feels like the only reason I'd want to summon for them is because they look shiny 😭
I’m telling bro it’s just an endless cycle of a broken ultra coming out, them getting countered by a better one, and then it just repeats. The only reason i summon for ultras as well is because i like how the models and animations look, plus i know if i don’t pull them then i can’t win a single pvp match again.
The UVB counter was the worst like Janemba completely countered UVB but he got countered so bad by Pikkon. Its insane tbh its like Toshi make these characters on purpose just to mock people. Imagine grinding and spending so so much cc for one copy and the next day you wake up he is countered. Its just all jokes for Toshi
So your time frame on drops is off, Kaioken Goku did not counter USG, Rose didn't come out till March the following year after Beast, Beast dropped in October, then Legends fest which had the tag 4's. Nothing really countered Gogeta Blue till Kid Buu, and even then Gogeta was still cooking. Then 5th anni came out with UVB who didn't get countered till Janemba, Nameku was there but you rarely saw him. But yeah Ultras really isn't the issue it's literally just the counter mechanic that sucks absolute fucking cock. No one likes the mechanic, yet they still drop that shit. All 3 out of of the 4 Ultras that dropped this year have had counter gauges.
One exception here is UVB. Ultra Janemba didn't even put a dent on him. He is very much relevant today. Also, another addition, USSBKK Goku got countered the VERY next month thanks to tagdroids. And while that wasn't enough, LF MUI Goku was released on the 4th anniversary part 1
The first point is spot on. The main reason that most people have a problem with ultras is because of how abysmal their banners are. For some strange reason, some sexless bum in the Bandai office thought it was a good idea to put 3+ year old UNUSABLE units on a banner that features a character that you literally have less than a 1% chance of getting. They need to fix this asap if they want people to be hyped for legends fest fr.
This is exactly why I always say that Legends relies on the Dragon Ball IP alot to even stay standing anymore. If this was an original IP every player would’ve called out the devs for their scummy tactics immediately, but because it’s Dragon Ball everyone just mindlessly summons anyway.
Ever since turles came out, I’ve stopped having fun with this game. Ever since I first installed this game, I’ve been in love with it, but recently it’s been very hard to stay with it.
I started playing at 15 years old that was 4 years ago, it was dope, I really got tired of this game 2 years ago, even tho I got the meta characters, transforming green Goku black and the first tag switch were the most fun I had, now I came back and got ug4 and fusionable vegeto, it’s fun and all but compared to before the pvp is even worse I just wished there was more love for story mode at least, it gets boring and that’s the only place you can try characters you actually like without being nuked by a 14 stars ultra majin vegeta with zenkai buffs

hot take, but we need more mid units. if every unit is god-tier on release, it makes older units nonviable. all i want is a cheap banner filled with good, but not necessarily meta units edit: to elaborate, the constant power creep is really fucking with the overall pvp experience. if you don't summon for the newest unit, you straight up can't compete at higher ranks. ideally, newer units would be more balanced and focus on fleshing out the roster, but bandai makes a lot of money off of broken units, so i understand why we keep getting massively op meta-defining units

This is good for their profits, but not for the game's health. People are upset because we have to spend money to keep up with the constant power creep. TL;DR: the steady stream of OP characters is good for Bandai's finances, but bad for the game's overall health.
@@Rygito Most non-gacha games don't have the power creep issue that DBL has; when new shit gets added, either it's around the same level of power as previous options or everything gets balanced around the new shit. Ideally, Legends wouldn't have nearly as much power creep as it has right now, instead focusing on fleshing out the roster further with balanced units. The game can progress and innovate without constantly breaking the meta. Realistically, though, this power creep is necessary so Bandai can make money off of broken units. Even if it'd be better for the health of the game for units to be more balanced and for players to have more variety in which units they can reasonably bring to PvP, it's simply not realistic for Bandai to waste an opportunity to chase the bag like that

They are cool but they have been overused. They should’ve release one or two per year. In anni and festival. Not every 2 months. Because now if you don’t have an ultra you can’t win in pvp. And now every new player has the new ultra, uses them a lot until they fall off and quit. It’s just a massive problem

I spent 12k cc on UMV and did not get him. Idk how tf I even managed to get that many but still no Vegeta. The only Vegeta Ultra we have who’ll be countered soon so there’s no point in getting him later. I just want to thank Toshi for having such amazing summon rates!
I’ve spent 20k cc grinding challenges in the story, events, pvp, legend rankings, and coop and didn’t even pull any of the shitty LFs much less UMV. I think I’m done with this game for good. I have no interest anymore. I have pretty much no way to grind for cc and I’m not buying cc for a minuscule chance of getting a unit who won’t be relevant by the time I get him. This game is trash.

Ultras are really cool, but I think they should lock only one Ultra per party. It would not solve the problem, but will for sure mitigate the issue. Plus they should make Ultras more unique (talkin about their abilities and passives.) When they are cookin an Ultra they just throw all the most up to date broken and toxic mechanics mixing all together and boom, each new Ultra we have a new toxic shiny big boy in town.

turles was genuinely a turning point for me he is ultra toxic and then they release majin vegeta who's just ultra rathan 2.0. this meta is genuinely the worst meta ive ever played in. worse than rathan, worse than gofrieza worse than blue vb worse than og regen. so close to quitting

Im a brand new player ( been playing for a week), I started to play because I saw there is a Majin Vegeta unit which is my fav character in Dragon Ball, I spent all of the CC that I could farm to pull him and was lucky enough to get him after 24k+ . I can say that this unit just gave me so much power whenever I play online or even clear challanges or story. All of a sudden am zooming through.
Please put the game down while you are ahead, the game baits you with a really good pull in the beginning and its just downhill from there. The game is pure bait, don't fall for it.
That's the only issue the PVE is still subpar to what you can play like with how much they be focusing on PVP you'd think they'd just switched up and the only thing they care at least to a minimum is the story mode cause if they were fully into PVP they'd probably ended the Story Mode before it ever gets completed
i actually agree so much, the meta has grown so much and so fast to the point that you can barely play dbl TODAY without an ultra character FROM THE LAST 6 MONTHS. I've honestly never pulled for an ultra unit seriously but it is crazy just how unplayable the game is without an ultra because the whole meta currently is double defense, super card draw speed, cover null by simply side stepping, universal cover change, endurance and like cancel buffs and its so dumb genuinely to the point that this game is no longer for beginners or casuals, either your an og player that has every unit, every equip & zenkai, AND insane pull luck or just able to put down over 1000$ on CC you cannot play.
I remember I was doing my best to continue playing legends. Spent 100$ on Kaioken Goku/Evolution Vegeta’s banner and got shafted. Patience was thin. Then they announced Rathan. I vividly remember watching the video, reading his kit. And I deleted the game. I did not come back to the game until recently when they released Green VB and Yellow GB. Made an entirely new account and used the easy CC to get myself a team miles better than what I used to have. I avoided prime Rathan meta, but now I’m dealing with UMV and UG4. I hate it here 😭
Something that I think would make the ultra banners better is to give us a banner inspired by the master pack z banner but instead of lfs it’s just old ass ultras that have no value anymore except to look pretty in someone’s box. Like every ultra up to either kid buu or hit should be there. And have some decent spankings on there too besides the generic 2+ year old sparkings that have no value anymore either

I started playing this game like 3 days ago, on my second summon I pulled the new ul majin vegeta, and then I only opened the ss3 gotenks one, getting both him, ss vegito and other good support characters like majin buu: hercule and shin, and as I'm getting to know the game better I undestand how lucky I've been
This is why I only summon for ultras if there’s nothing else I’m saving up for. I really cant fathom saving for months to summon on a bad banner and getting nothing out of it
Best video ever and you spoke for all of us and i had the exact same thoughts but it's just we can't do anything like solution wise. Unless, Community starts protest and actually Leave Game or take major actions in majority so the game would actually try to fix things. Are we really here just supposed to reroll accounts?? Ultken goku is absolutely amazing. Until recently where I started playing around with gimmick teams or the new vegito teams, i was maining him (ultken) for 4 years on a godki build. Amazing unit, never fell off.

It’s actually kinda sad cause I pulled ultra frieza twice In one summon back to back and he got horrendously power crept like his teams were disgusting at that time and all you could do was only have a comeback and u couldn’t even combo off of the comeback
Before ultra gohan i remember getting combo'd for 99 hits by the constant fusion releases with saiyans. I think hes over hated bc he has an oppressive kit to long combos units. Janemba was a problem and they made gohan too strong to get another unit on par with him.

UMVs featured units are probable the worst I’ve seen in an ultra banner. Theres never been a “bad” ultra. Every time these mfs come out they completely break the game, they basically play the game for you. The same people in these comments saying “skill issue” are more than likely the same people who run these annoying rats and let the characters play the game for them. To top it off, releasing UMV so close to turles is just beyond obsurd. This mf is just the second coming of ultra gohan. Enjoy losing to UMV that you almost got dead but the game decides to draw you a full hand of blasts while he has a full gauge

What's crazy is that on the 2x ul rates there's a higher chance to pull the ul then the legends limiteds but you end up getting the legends limited instead of the ul that has a higher chance
I'm going to be real with you, the entire reason why I took a long ass break from legends was because of Ultras. I got shafted, couldn't keep up with the meta, had no new events to get cc, and got the PVP pattern of lose lose win (by bot). I recently came back since I really love this game. It's a game I've played for a long time and I really care about it. This is why it hurts so much to see what the meta's become. All I've been doing now is just playing at least 1 pvp match a day or at least till I win, completing all the offline tasks, then dipping for the day.
Your beef with the ultra banners is definitely justified. I'm a new player been in about 2 weeks and had completely avoided summons except the 100cc daily ones and I had 24k CC when gogeta blue ultra dropped a few days back, I sank 10k into the banner and managed to pull him....most mid thing I've ever experienced. Buyers remorse is real
The first part I agree with it, they should put other ultras on new ultra banners like dokkan does. So that way even if u miss the ultra u can still pull them on a later banner instead of just summoning on the same banner when it comes back. Also gives ultra banners more value so if u don’t pull the main ultra u can get another ultra who’s good
Ngl, if LF's had the same abiltiies and Kits as ULTRA's, the game would GENUINELY be horrible. We would get a broken unit every 2/4 weeks, they would have some snapped mechanic, and the rates would be way better so we would see the toxic mechanics WAYY more often.

Okay if we're being real here, even tho this game is a GACHA game, the shift in the meta for 2023 and 2024 is so fast that its hard to keep up. Every new character power creep the other so fast that the character that gets powercreep becomes useless to the point they're just left for dead or get help by the next new power creep unit. Unitl now ultra units are just units that have the same mechanic that broken LF units has with doubled the crack they have or more. Right now the meta is ul turles with ul majin vegeta, with either gohan or ug4. Just tell me how the f are you going to kill that team when they either removes your endurance null buffs, wasting your RR on a revival/comeback, or stopping you mid combo. No matter how many time the enemy that using that team screws up, the chances of you winning if you don't have any of those units are low, and good luck if they know how to play the game. I dont have ul turles and even ul majin vegeta and im struggling since those guys are just hard to kill. Well anyway can't wait for ul mui goku that removes buff, counters litterally everything even rr and follows up with and ult for 3 times with uncancellable buffs that nullifies endurance, revival, indestructible, and comeback. and ofcourse the most important one is to not let you forfeit the match if you got finished of by his ultimate. GG RIP BOZO for the people that can't get him said the db legends team.

Before I watch the rest of the video, I want to say that I defeated a handful of Ultras with just legends limiteds, but yes they are far more OP than LLs
What they could do is do like sparking zero. Outta 10 points build your team. Have a point system where strong characters like ultras are worth 5 or 6 points LFs be 3 points etc etc this way u arent runnin into two oppresive ultras on one team🤷🏾
imagine if the ultra banners have MORE ultras like, you summon for UMV and there is also USV and UKB in the banner, atleast you would get an ultra unit that even if is not good, for someone as me who only have 1 summonable ultra, that will be good but idk
The thing with Rathan when he's LMS is that he draws the second ult, PERMANENTLY TYPE NEUTRAL, AND PERMANENT ENDURANCE NULL. Game literally rewards you for being garbage.
I think a problem i have personally thay may be a nitpick is that Ultras dont have a tangible thing unique to them that make them worth the rarity buff LRs in dokkan have 18 Kis which seperate them from TURs entirely. Ultras have the Ultra abilties but thats just bigger damage. Unique gauges ironically enough arent a unique thing to them
I’ve taken some breaks here and there from the game whenever I felt it was getting stale or boring so I’d wait until one of the celebrations or if a new character caught my attention. Ultra Gohan was the first unit that genuinely made me QUIT the game all together and I only came back once I saw fusing Gogeta which at the time was the best counter I could’ve gotten since he bypasses Gohan’s annoying ass unique gauge. Easily the most game breaking unit to be released right alongside UVB.

Ultras are a great concept no doubt about it, but the moment they put gamebreaking abilities like the auto counters is the day the game started to become bad, also they aint slick making the new ultra units so ungodly op that you have to play like a lobotomized chicken while your opponent has to basically perform a brain surgery blindfolded just to win the match, then making sure that the next best possible unit is at least 2 years old is diabolical, for shame legends, for shame.
They had to start giving em op abilities so people would pull for em with them trash ass drop rates 😂 I got ultra gogeta and skipped every ultra after until UI came out because most Lfs were just as good

Ultras have been annoying since the days of Ultra Vegito Blue, Super Gogeta is still better
It's not just about Ultras at this point. I feel like the power creep between units over the years has become so bad that a new Sparking unit can easily outperform a year old Ultra. Take Evil Buu and UL Rose as an example. I know this is a bad example, but the fact that a regular Sparking unit is better than an Ultra speaks volumes.
They ruin the game since the beginning when beerus zenkai first LF and only beerus LF went to nothing so basically you cant play because every unit is limited to some season buffs
So you always have to chase and spend as much money as possible to max out the new characters, 99% of the other characters in the game are obsolete. The grind isn't even fun because the characters you spend months maxing out are irrelevant in the new patch.
Another thing to mention is how fast they get countered - usg, 2 months later kaioken goku which shut down all his combos and brought back vados which he couldn't deal with, usv, 3 months later you get red cooler the LITERAL BANE OF HIS EXISTENCE, ultra broly literally 2 weeks later got bodied and knocked off the top 10 the SECOND blue beast dropped, ultra rose - 3 months later goza comes out and consistently ONE SHOTS him, following them came uvb who got blues after Blues after blues after blues after blues right after he released, speaking of said blue that annhilated uvb, ultra janemba - 2 month and he went from 1 to barely even top 10 from the ultra ui meta
And then ultra ui as i said, a month and a half later gets HARD countered by s17 💀 almost unplayable against him. Then ultra rat dropped, he was gohaning all over pvp which is typical but then gets hard countered by many purple unuts coming out right after, ugf, napgeta AND ug4
And then up to current date, ugf and ug4 both get decimated by the new Vegeta (whos gonna have the same thing happen to him 😅)
It feels like a genuine scam to go for these ultras, they fall off so hard because of directed counter after counter (except a few) that to me it just feels like the only reason I'd want to summon for them is because they look shiny 😭
I’m telling bro it’s just an endless cycle of a broken ultra coming out, them getting countered by a better one, and then it just repeats. The only reason i summon for ultras as well is because i like how the models and animations look, plus i know if i don’t pull them then i can’t win a single pvp match again.
The UVB counter was the worst like Janemba completely countered UVB but he got countered so bad by Pikkon. Its insane tbh its like Toshi make these characters on purpose just to mock people. Imagine grinding and spending so so much cc for one copy and the next day you wake up he is countered. Its just all jokes for Toshi

So your time frame on drops is off, Kaioken Goku did not counter USG, Rose didn't come out till March the following year after Beast, Beast dropped in October, then Legends fest which had the tag 4's. Nothing really countered Gogeta Blue till Kid Buu, and even then Gogeta was still cooking. Then 5th anni came out with UVB who didn't get countered till Janemba, Nameku was there but you rarely saw him. But yeah Ultras really isn't the issue it's literally just the counter mechanic that sucks absolute fucking cock. No one likes the mechanic, yet they still drop that shit. All 3 out of of the 4 Ultras that dropped this year have had counter gauges.
One exception here is UVB. Ultra Janemba didn't even put a dent on him. He is very much relevant today. Also, another addition, USSBKK Goku got countered the VERY next month thanks to tagdroids. And while that wasn't enough, LF MUI Goku was released on the 4th anniversary part 1
The first point is spot on. The main reason that most people have a problem with ultras is because of how abysmal their banners are.
For some strange reason, some sexless bum in the Bandai office thought it was a good idea to put 3+ year old UNUSABLE units on a banner that features a character that you literally have less than a 1% chance of getting.
They need to fix this asap if they want people to be hyped for legends fest fr.
This is exactly why I always say that Legends relies on the Dragon Ball IP alot to even stay standing anymore. If this was an original IP every player would’ve called out the devs for their scummy tactics immediately, but because it’s Dragon Ball everyone just mindlessly summons anyway.

I started playing at 15 years old that was 4 years ago, it was dope, I really got tired of this game 2 years ago, even tho I got the meta characters, transforming green Goku black and the first tag switch were the most fun I had, now I came back and got ug4 and fusionable vegeto, it’s fun and all but compared to before the pvp is even worse I just wished there was more love for story mode at least, it gets boring and that’s the only place you can try characters you actually like without being nuked by a 14 stars ultra majin vegeta with zenkai buffs

This is good for their profits, but not for the game's health. People are upset because we have to spend money to keep up with the constant power creep.
TL;DR: the steady stream of OP characters is good for Bandai's finances, but bad for the game's overall health.

@@Rygito Most non-gacha games don't have the power creep issue that DBL has; when new shit gets added, either it's around the same level of power as previous options or everything gets balanced around the new shit. Ideally, Legends wouldn't have nearly as much power creep as it has right now, instead focusing on fleshing out the roster further with balanced units. The game can progress and innovate without constantly breaking the meta. Realistically, though, this power creep is necessary so Bandai can make money off of broken units. Even if it'd be better for the health of the game for units to be more balanced and for players to have more variety in which units they can reasonably bring to PvP, it's simply not realistic for Bandai to waste an opportunity to chase the bag like that

I’ve spent 20k cc grinding challenges in the story, events, pvp, legend rankings, and coop and didn’t even pull any of the shitty LFs much less UMV. I think I’m done with this game for good. I have no interest anymore. I have pretty much no way to grind for cc and I’m not buying cc for a minuscule chance of getting a unit who won’t be relevant by the time I get him. This game is trash.

Ultras are really cool, but I think they should lock only one Ultra per party. It would not solve the problem, but will for sure mitigate the issue. Plus they should make Ultras more unique (talkin about their abilities and passives.) When they are cookin an Ultra they just throw all the most up to date broken and toxic mechanics mixing all together and boom, each new Ultra we have a new toxic shiny big boy in town.

Im a brand new player ( been playing for a week), I started to play because I saw there is a Majin Vegeta unit which is my fav character in Dragon Ball, I spent all of the CC that I could farm to pull him and was lucky enough to get him after 24k+ . I can say that this unit just gave me so much power whenever I play online or even clear challanges or story. All of a sudden am zooming through.

That's the only issue the PVE is still subpar to what you can play like with how much they be focusing on PVP you'd think they'd just switched up and the only thing they care at least to a minimum is the story mode cause if they were fully into PVP they'd probably ended the Story Mode before it ever gets completed

i actually agree so much, the meta has grown so much and so fast to the point that you can barely play dbl TODAY without an ultra character FROM THE LAST 6 MONTHS. I've honestly never pulled for an ultra unit seriously but it is crazy just how unplayable the game is without an ultra because the whole meta currently is double defense, super card draw speed, cover null by simply side stepping, universal cover change, endurance and like cancel buffs and its so dumb genuinely to the point that this game is no longer for beginners or casuals, either your an og player that has every unit, every equip & zenkai, AND insane pull luck or just able to put down over 1000$ on CC you cannot play.

I remember I was doing my best to continue playing legends. Spent 100$ on Kaioken Goku/Evolution Vegeta’s banner and got shafted. Patience was thin.

I vividly remember watching the video, reading his kit. And I deleted the game. I did not come back to the game until recently when they released Green VB and Yellow GB. Made an entirely new account and used the easy CC to get myself a team miles better than what I used to have.
I avoided prime Rathan meta, but now I’m dealing with UMV and UG4. I hate it here 😭
Something that I think would make the ultra banners better is to give us a banner inspired by the master pack z banner but instead of lfs it’s just old ass ultras that have no value anymore except to look pretty in someone’s box. Like every ultra up to either kid buu or hit should be there. And have some decent spankings on there too besides the generic 2+ year old sparkings that have no value anymore either

Ultken goku is absolutely amazing. Until recently where I started playing around with gimmick teams or the new vegito teams, i was maining him (ultken) for 4 years on a godki build. Amazing unit, never fell off.

Before ultra gohan i remember getting combo'd for 99 hits by the constant fusion releases with saiyans. I think hes over hated bc he has an oppressive kit to long combos units. Janemba was a problem and they made gohan too strong to get another unit on par with him.

UMVs featured units are probable the worst I’ve seen in an ultra banner. Theres never been a “bad” ultra. Every time these mfs come out they completely break the game, they basically play the game for you. The same people in these comments saying “skill issue” are more than likely the same people who run these annoying rats and let the characters play the game for them. To top it off, releasing UMV so close to turles is just beyond obsurd. This mf is just the second coming of ultra gohan. Enjoy losing to UMV that you almost got dead but the game decides to draw you a full hand of blasts while he has a full gauge

I'm going to be real with you, the entire reason why I took a long ass break from legends was because of Ultras. I got shafted, couldn't keep up with the meta, had no new events to get cc, and got the PVP pattern of lose lose win (by bot). I recently came back since I really love this game. It's a game I've played for a long time and I really care about it. This is why it hurts so much to see what the meta's become. All I've been doing now is just playing at least 1 pvp match a day or at least till I win, completing all the offline tasks, then dipping for the day.
Your beef with the ultra banners is definitely justified. I'm a new player been in about 2 weeks and had completely avoided summons except the 100cc daily ones and I had 24k CC when gogeta blue ultra dropped a few days back, I sank 10k into the banner and managed to pull him....most mid thing I've ever experienced. The first part I agree with it, they should put other ultras on new ultra banners like dokkan does. So that way even if u miss the ultra u can still pull them on a later banner instead of just summoning on the same banner when it comes back. Also gives ultra banners more value so if u don’t pull the main ultra u can get another ultra who’s good

Okay if we're being real here, even tho this game is a GACHA game, the shift in the meta for 2023 and 2024 is so fast that its hard to keep up. Every new character power creep the other so fast that the character that gets powercreep becomes useless to the point they're just left for dead or get help by the next new power creep unit. Unitl now ultra units are just units that have the same mechanic that broken LF units has with doubled the crack they have or more.
Right now the meta is ul turles with ul majin vegeta, with either gohan or ug4. Just tell me how the f are you going to kill that team when they either removes your endurance null buffs, wasting your RR on a revival/comeback, or stopping you mid combo. No matter how many time the enemy that using that team screws up, the chances of you winning if you don't have any of those units are low, and good luck if they know how to play the game. I dont have ul turles and even ul majin vegeta and im struggling since those guys are just hard to kill.
Well anyway can't wait for ul mui goku that removes buff, counters litterally everything even rr and follows up with and ult for 3 times with uncancellable buffs that nullifies endurance, revival, indestructible, and comeback. and ofcourse the most important one is to not let you forfeit the match if you got finished of by his ultimate. GG RIP BOZO for the people that can't get him said the db legends team.
The banner kept getting me LL Majin Vegeta instead of the Utra at least Ultra UI. SMH
this is why i love UVB, he's a balanced ultra I still use him to this day, I really hate the op ultras they feel cheap to use that's why I stopped using ug4
I think the main issue with ultra banners is that they come back about every 2 months so the devs dont wanna make it good because they would be too much value
These banners are why I say some of us are saving our hard earn CCs for specific characters as if it's the Second Coming of Christ. Having 200K+ worth of CCs.
Before I watch the rest of the video, I want to say that I defeated a handful of Ultras with just legends limiteds, but yes they are far more OP than LLs
What they could do is do like sparking zero. Outta 10 points build your team. Have a point system where strong characters like ultras are worth 5 or 6 points LFs be 3 points etc etc this way u arent runnin into two oppresive ultras on one team🤷🏾

The thing with Rathan when he's LMS is that he draws the second ult, PERMANENTLY TYPE NEUTRAL, AND PERMANENT ENDURANCE NULL. Game literally rewards you for being garbage.
I think a problem i have personally thay may be a nitpick is that Ultras dont have a tangible thing unique to them that make them worth the rarity buff
LRs in dokkan have 18 Kis which seperate them from TURs entirely. Ultras have the Ultra abilties but thats just bigger damage. Unique gauges ironically enough arent a unique thing to them

I’ve taken some breaks here and there from the game whenever I felt it was getting stale or boring so I’d wait until one of the celebrations or if a new character caught my attention. Ultra Gohan was the first unit that genuinely made me QUIT the game all together and I only came back once I saw fusing Gogeta which at the time was the best counter I could’ve gotten since he bypasses Gohan’s annoying ass unique gauge. Easily the most game breaking unit to be released right alongside UVB.
