you saved her with the sugar. i had a kitten with low blood sugar once who had no energy just like that. the doctor gave us liquid glucose for it and it helped a lot. you did a really great job identifying the problem and helping the little kitten :)
It really touched me when I read the comment across the screen that said "I couldn't sleep during the night, I was really worried", bc I have been in the exact situation and sleep just will not come to those of us that have gone through this situation and have a conscience. I knew right then that you would have gone to any lengths to save this precious baby. Thank God that that commentor shared the advice about the milk and sugar, it probably saved his life. Prayers for the kitty 😺. I actually helped rescue a lot of cats and kittens and was able to keep 1 whom I found out was pregnant a day later. They said if I didn't help my mom catch her, she was so dehydrated that something surely would have gotten her in the night bc she wouldn't have been able to run. It was in June too so it was hot as hell and they were all abandoned at a place my dad volunteers at every so often so my dad called my mom saying whoever abandoned the litters didn't leave any food or water. She couldn't even move when we found her she was so dehydrated but we didn't know until my mom's friend looked so we though she had broken her legs or something. We were able to get he to good health. She gave birth to 3 kittens a exact month from the day we found her. Her name is Willow and the kittens names are Pumpkin, Spice, and Lola. Pumpkin and Spice looked exactly how this kitty looks when they were that young, the 3 are a year old now, and I have to reach down and take the sack off Spice's head bc Willow couldn't break it off and he would have suffocated if I didn't break it off for them. He's been attached to me like glue ever since that, like he appreciated the help which ik he does. I have a lot of very severe medical issues for only 16 but them and the other 3 cats and 2 dogs in my household make me very happy and there is always at least 1 of them coming up to my room to check on me and/or lay on me like they understand I hurt and go through a lot so they comfort me.Willow looked rlly scrawny when we first found her but her, Pumpkin, Spice, and Lola have grown and had their fur filled/fluffed out so beautifully since last year. So cats and dogs are very very precious animals to me and for more than just the most common reasons they're loved so it's good to see that ur trying to help him as much as u can and I hope he starts to do better :)

They emit good smells like a new baby does too, from their heads and behind their ears. And they have big eyes and small noses, again reminding us of babies. We inadvertently bred housecats to remind us of human babies.

Good thing that you found somebody who could give you an advice to help the kitten! 🐾💖But you should contact the veterinarian just in case. It is also important that you help the kitten to poop, too, not only pee. Is the kitten a female? It is not so many ginger females....!

Awesome to see the kitty doing better! Maybe a visit to your local vet would be a good idea as it may need a check up to see if it has a virus or infection and get some bloodwork done. Your doing an amazing job.

Such powerful meows! Fading kitten syndrome is so scary, I am glad she pulled through. She gave everyone a scare! Kittens that young are so fragile, I hope she stays healthy! It is pricey but if you are rescuing /fostering kittens that need bottles, an incubator is a good investment. Kittens cannot regulate their body temperature, and they can easily get too cold/hot. An incubator keeps the kitten at the perfect temperature and provides them with clean filtered air. It is the same technology they use for premature human babies, it saves lives!
As always, check with a veterinary professional to see if an incubator is necessary and what would the parameters of its use be, based on the particular needs and age of said kitten.
Pour little soul, but it's a good sign that the kotten started to meow!

Seriously though, I'm so glad your kitten is getting the substances it needs. I used to have around eleven cats in one household, and others not knowing how to take care of them breaks my heart. All eleven cats are healthy and fluffy, but we couldn't take them to the apartment we now live at. Also, I get it, taking care of something you may or may not have had in the past is difficult, and just because I have experience doesn't mean others do. Still, I don't mean to be rude by posting this comment. Feel free to report me if you really feel like it would need to be done.
