Bancho was a backing dancer before becoming a Vtuber, and she said that she had been craving to take the center stage with her dance for years. I'm so happy that she made her dream come true in the ReGLOSS 3D live!!!
Bancho alluded to the fact that she was actually a backup dancer and choreographer for some of the 3D lives before she became a talent. If so, good for her. Going from a backup to center stage is amazing.
Reminds me how Watame made a demo track for Aqua before her debut. 🎉
Bae & Bancho have expi in the amateur/pro dance scene. Thats why they can choreo. IDK about Laplus. She got moves

they really need to make a freaking dancer outfit for laplus
yessss, Give her a bob cut or something short and like some drippy baggy hip hop clothing so she doesn't seen as thin when doing those power moves
They absolutely do, her own outfits just can't properly show the movements
The Swap medley where she's wearing a variation of Kiara's outfit does show her moves a bit better (imo), but that's a very short performance so it's hard to get a full idea of how much difference an alternate outfit would make.
yeah in the old idol outfit she looks great when dancing but more than an outfit she need a change of hair too
Check out Youthful Days' Graffiti from Gura's latest Birthday 3D Live, her outfit in that is better for dancing but it's also not a very complicated dance, the dance is really long though (like 6 minutes).
Hajime just got that 3d and she's already bustling those moves man

and the fact that re:gloss members are all humans with simpler design (earlier gens have non-human characters with complex design such as tails or horns or wings)
except 1 person got cursed at the end, was funny haha
That 20 million USD mocap studio that took 1 and half years to make cemented their top Vtuber agency title.
Anyone who wants to do what Cover does has to play nice to use the studio, or play catch up and build their own.

She's actually the best though. Her movements were actually that of a pro. *And* she's high enough of a level to actually help with the choreography.

EDIT: Also she choreographed the choruses of 2 songs for the whole group.
@@NyangisKhan Both Bae and Laplus choreographed all of their performances. You should see all of them. They're really good. This clip is kind of cherry-picking. Bae and Laplus can dance harder than this. They have practiced dancing since forever. The three of them are right at the top for sure.
@@hashira4869 I just watch hololive because of how goofy they are. And don't really care about who's better than who. But I've watched enough dance competitions(cuz of an ex) to tell the difference between a person who's good at dancing vs a pro or an aspiring pro.

Damn Laplus is nerfed. Bae and Hajime has enough height to make the body rolls visible but Laplus is so tiny it hard to see it.
Her movement does indicate someone who liks dancing though.
Yeah her choice of character doesn't lend itself well to 3D. I'm sure there are riggers who could make it work, but they don't work at Hololive.
@@w0t money can make them work for hololive. Laplus just needs a model with shorter hair and she is fine.
Her arms are way too short as well, she needs appropriate body proportions and yeah a few more centimeters to her height wouldn't hurt.

Dancing is one of those skills that is really silly and fun, yet not like useeful, but then you see it being done at a high level and it's genuinely impressive and artistic

Hololive is sometimes a "circus", but it's still an idol company ✨
Banchou's 3D model seems to have more mesh allowing better deformations to be conveyed when she dance. I'm not 100% sure about how their movement is being read by the computer program but if its the same as mocap, where they put the tracker can help to read the movement better.
I think that is why Regloss design was purposefully made to be more proportionate, making it easier to read the movement silhoutte when they move around the stage which in turn allow them to have snappier movement (which is very crucial in dances).
I hope they update Bae and La+ 's 3d model to one that can convey their dance better!

Hajime is the boss baby. You thought she needs choreographer but she's the choreographer lmao
The three are good dancers but I can tell Hajime definitely took classes for more than a year, maybe even two. Bae and Laplus are good but is more like Tik-Tok oriented, Bae relying more on explosiveness and energy while Laplus going for sexyness. The steps are very well executed though simple (Not saying is a bad thing), but Hajime steps are more demanding in coordination.
They have all natural talent but any pro or semi-pro dancer can tell Hajime is in absolutely another level!

Aki: hip goes brr, mom dance class tutor
Kiara: otaku can dance too
Moona: indonesian girl group member, dances from mall to another mall
Kobo: tiktok dancer

I won't disagree with you on these, but I also think Kiara is a good dancer as well as Kobo. A vtuber i ran into that also impressed me was Amanohoshi chiroru for her dancing, she made an appearance in I think it was one of Matsuri's 3d concerts which is how i found her and she has a 3d on her own channel as well. But yes, Laplus, Hajime and Bae are incredible dancers for sure, I was so impressed when i saw Hajime dance for the first time, she's so good! Laplus may actually be my favorite dancer in hololive though, I also find the way she moves around in 3d is so cute!
You also forgot to mention Aki Rosenthal and Yuzuki Choco as they have great style as well!

I agree. I don't think Nerissa has been featured that much in terms of dance yet, but I am guessing that she is actually a pretty good dancer. Her movements were very natural.

I don't know if its true but I saw a comment on a differnt clip that said that Banchou has years of experience as a backup dancer so it clearly shows how she awesome.
I really love to see this as a dance enthusiasts. Knowing that there are many talented dancers in Hololive besides these three, I hope we got another project like Hoshimatic where everyone got their chance to shine
