Most people in the room didnt actually know Luminus was the real demon lord since she had Roy stand in for her long before most joined the demon lords, even Kazalim didnt know and thought Roy was the demon lord, only those who joined before Luminus knew who she was...Rimuru's ability to gauge peoples strength is insanely high thanks to Raphael which actually worked against him when Guy basically used it to deduce that Rimuru had an ultimate skill

The thing that the anime left out completly was how all people herw used diffrent methods to hide their strenght and luminas alone used the same method as guy, only slighty worse executed.
And guy and her where the only people that could partially hide their magicule count aswell as if they had an ultimate skill or not.
For comparison leon completly hid his powerlevel from everyone, but in turn revealed that he has an Ulti skill, cuz only with one of them one can completly hid from someone with another.

Guy, Milim and Ramiris are the 3 oldest demon lords and were around when Luminus became demonlord so they knew.
Dragul and Deeno are demon Lords of the same generation as Luminus so they also were present when she was active so they would also know.

So Kazalim>Clayman, Carlion and Frey ... Leon is an exception as he is at a level where like Rimuru he was able to see through the ruse ...

No it’s because his name is LITERALLY “Gee” as in, the sound of someone scared. It’s the sound people used to make from when he slaughtered people before becoming a True Demon Lord and he ended up liking the sound so he named himself “Guy” pronounced as “Gee”.
It's taken GEE because when people got scared they made 'GEE' type screaming..... He taken that as his name..... He and his lineage likes human screaming and all...... @@Rikaisan I believe during the harvest festival Great Sage evolved twice. Once to wise one (something like that) and then again to Raphael. It happens quick in the anime and you might not realize it at 1st.
Maybe it makes more sense when it's 2 evolutions and not 1.

If you do react to Slime Diaries just know that, chronologically, it starts around just before Gazel Dwargo shows up in Tempest for the first time and goes until right before the whole Charybdis stuff happens. It's basically a slice of life season detailing events that happen during that time frame in the main story. It's also a way different more cutesy art style and has a very different vibe than the main series, but it's still definitely worth watching even if just for fun
And, I seriously enjoyed it astronomically more than I imagined I could.
Slime Diaries is a great way to enjoy more slime content/context until S3 eventually comes out. Plus, it made me love certain characters even more (won't spoil who I'm referring to).
A certain porcine papa perhaps? That's who I really enjoyed as well as Treyni before Ramiris made her into a dumb simp. And seeing a few insects make their anime debut as well as the reason for them wanting to get stronger was a nice touch since they're skipped in the anime.

When Rimuru was puching Clayman he used thought acceleration on him naking it seem like those few seconds lasted a few months. Clayman was a sobbing broken mess after that.
01:50 fun fact, as Guy said, while all those punches were being thrown, including the final attack, rimuru was using though acceleration on clayman to make him feel the pain for a lot longer, i think it was about a million times longer so gg, definitely wasnt a painless death. Basically years of pain with each punch.

The anime really missed out here, Red made the comment "He used thought acceleration on Clayman" but didn't really give it any more. Rimuru used thought thought acceleration on Clayman so everything was slowed down to snail's pace, Clayman could see every punch coming slowly but could not avoid and the pain for each punch he felt for longer. Rimuru was basically torturing him there. That is why Ramiris said Clayman deserved it.

All I will say about Leon is that he has his reasons. His reasons aren't really fair to Shizue, but it wasn't just on a whim. I also feel that he did really give her a second chance, she was literally getting ready to die on earth anyways when he summoned her.
Slime diaries has a different art style which will throw you a lot, but it's still a good show to watch if you're aching for some more slime. It's more of a slice of life series and it takes place between the two seasons. Although there's not much action, there is a lot of foreshadowing as well as emotional scenes that add a lot to the second season, such as why Milim cherishes her friends so much.
In the manga, Deeno's title is actually "Fallen angel" and we know that angels in this world exist from Diablo.
Just as a fun fact: in the last episode, when Clayman awakens and they quickly show everyone's reaction to it, you can actually see Roy, the fake Demon Lord, raising an arm to protect Luminous, the true Demon Lord, a small but nice hint about their true nature.

Slime Diaries is great, but it's different because it's a slice if life. It actually makes this show better. I think other isikais and Shonen shoud do this as well. It takes place between the first and second season, but it's worth watching now as well. If you don't react to it, I still recommend checking it out on your own

Walpurgis as already known is a meeting, they were actually planning on making a name for their group multiple times. coincidentally most of the time only ten demon lords survive every fight. so the humans started calling them the ten great demon lords.
the demon lords kinda just went along with the name given by the humans, since they couldn't think of another one or can't be bothered to put the effort into thinking.
another fun fact is that only the demon lord seeds are mostly active with their demon lord titles like Clayman, Carrion, Frey, Kazalim, and the rest of the dead demon lord seeds. meaning the standard of a demon lord for the public is demon lord seed level, which isn't even the real thing lol.
aside from Milim, the other true demon lords or those with equal strengths have just taken a back seat and live quietly in their places. because if they fight... well look at milim as an example.
Yeah, true it was even discussed in Tempest that they wont say Rimuru awakened...which is the reason that most until much later, that would be able to somewhat comprehend his strength, underestimate him greatly. I think At the very least if tensura gets full adaptation there will be 8 seasons considering tensura light novel volumes are bigger then usual ln volumes. And from volume 11 there will be very very less thing that they can skip.(even then they have to skip many more information 😔)

Yeah, I don't know about going uphill. The segment where he first becomes a Demon Lord won't really be matched with the material Season 3 and 4 covers. Probably have to wait for Season 5 to match that high(at least I would assume it's around Season 5 when the Empire Arc starts)
Though if S4 contains what I think it will the finale will be pretty hype. S3 though just feels like a transition season to me

Clayman was FUNDAMENTAL in the founding and rising of Tempest into the major power it is. If they make a National Meuseam in Tempest, that mask fragment should be a centerpiece.
If you are curious about GUY's name being guy in short without any spoilers, then I will say it. Basically guy killed many to become demon lord and he heard people's pain before they were dying with pain, it was like gyaaaa... Something like that. I am sure you might have heard this type of shouting expression of pain in other animes when they get hurt. So, guy evloved naming himself "GUY". Obviously this is English translation. Japanese novel might be somehow different in naming perspective. I have read English translated and this is what it is.
Furthermore, Guy is an actual name in french, pronounced the way they do in the anime. Considering the Primordials' original "names" were all in french (Rouge, Vert, Bleu, Noir, etc), it would make sense that Guy, who is one such being, would give himself a french name.
I think Slime Diaries would be a great fit for you, they're a lot more calm and slice-of-life but those episodes have been some of your favorites previously and you get more time and get to know some of these lovable characters so absolutely, go for it!

Noir and Rouge is also France Language that means Black and Red, that means Diablo and Guy(Gii) is a Primodial Demon Black and Red

The origins of Guy Crimson's name is a bit funny. The reason why it's pronounced as "Gii" is because he assumed that name himself when he was slaughtering the kingdom who summoned him. One of the people he's murdering screamed "Giiiyaa" as he kills them.

The movie isn't canon. Also, Laplace IS scary strong ^-^ and he is SUCH a good character as the story grows over the next few volumes.

Carrion and Frey are like 500-600 or so iirc. Then it's Milim whos over 20k and Luminus whos over 30k. Ramiris and Dagruell are quite old, I'm guessing at least a few billions of years and Guy and Deeno were around since the beginning of time, tens of billions years ago.

Laplace has to be my favorite "Bad Guy" in this series. His character is so well done.
The movie is and isn't canon at the same time. It's not part of the original story but there is nothing in the movie that would make it non canon for the rest of the story. What you could probably say is not canon to the LN but canon to the anime. I honestly think we can consider it canon since it wouldn't impact negatively anything. There is also 3 OVA making a small story that should release end of 2023 to make us wait for season 3 in April of 2024.

Guy Crimson is the first of the seven colored primordial demons and also the first ever awakened demon lord in history. To explain his name being said as "Ghee" instead of Guy The name "Guy" is the name he had given to himself after being summoned to the material world ( the demons doesn't have material or physical bodies the demon world is a spiritual world) and annihilating 2 kingdoms it is from the screams of the people dying on that day.
People usually summoned colored greater demons or colorless lesser demons but sometimes there were exceptions (exceptions that has about 0.1% chance to occur out of at least... 1million-or more-tries?) Of summoning the "Rulers" - the primordials they can't be summoned easily as even just the strain of summoning a mere lesser or greater demon can caused great exhaustion to the summoner's soul and almost causing them to pass out and summoning an arch demon will take a arch mage or else it will bring you closer to death's door so summoning a primordial will caused greater strain or should I say instant death as they will be instantly consumed if you look back when tiss-sensei summoned Diablo (or more like he uses Tiss-sensei's summoning -and I'm assuming create a temporary body made of magicules to arrive at the scene) he said something like "being generous as to avoid causing a strain on his summoner" meanwhile when Rimuru summoned him it's more like he forced his way in the summoning and consumed the dead bodies of the falmuth soldiers to create a material body if he didn't interfere Rimuru will most likely have summoned a greater demon instead. And yes you're once again right Berreta is from the black faction or Diablo's "family" as he called it also Guy's maids Misery and Rain are primordial demons themselves to name the seven colors

The last three is in a three way deadlock competition after Rain and Misery challenged Guy only lose and this caused them to serve him as his maids while Diablo lost interest in pursuing strength not even being interested in creating much "descendants" and so the remaining three now plays a game competting (and getting in the way of each other) to see who would be the first to have a material body by placing "deals" in the material world.
Note: Rimuru is currently unaware that Diablo is a primordial demon😂😂😂

on the movie its a yes and a no. it is not cannon for the LN and the manga cause they are way past it but for the anime it is. meaning they now can refer to it and even have people/places show up from it. it is also written by fuse the writer for slime.
Theory: Since everything Rimuru ate is being analyzed by great sage since the beginning, and great sage has evolved to Raphael-san, he might have stolen Clayman's ultimate abilities as well after he was devoured. Same as to how Rimuro stole the seal that imprisoned Veldora.
While this would be cool, unfortunately he didn't. I won't say much, but he doesn't get his ultimate skill (IF he even had one. Having an ultimate is much more impressive than Rimuru makes it look)

He's probably stronger than Rimuru at this point(or at least they're close) but that won't last. Out of the 8 demon lords Rimuru is between 5 and 7 right now. Ahead of Ramiris in her pixie form and close with Deeno and Luminus. Rimuru will just keep getting stronger while the others are about as strong as they'll get.
Far stronger that you can think of. He just always hold back (besides ln where that left to show in wn there showed the amount of his holding back)

1) the movie is not officially canon, like most anime movies. It is also deliberately not wrong canonically. Put another way, the writers of the movie made a story that could be considered canon, without messing with any of the future story, if you wanted it to be. (including the original light novel)

I love Rimuru's energy too but at that time Guy, Milim, Dagruell and Leon would kill him rather easily. Luminus and Deeno could go either way though i think they still have a slight advantage over him in power and much more experience (Luminus being over 30k years old and Deeno is billions of years old).
That said in less than a year only Guy and Milim could hope to rival him.
Deeno Is far more powerful then Leon .
