Don't worry about getting an oil change done before you move. A few weeks delay won't hurt the car. It might run slightly more sluggish but otherwise no drama, so save yourself the headache & get it done in your new town xx
As an Army brat, yes it is normal to be in your feels about moving and for those feels to be all mixed up. I love @heathermoreland6015’s idea of acting like a tourist and hitting all your favorite spots before leaving. Would be fun to make your list kinda like a treasure hunt with each of you picking your personal favorite and then the end “treasure” being the place you all love as a family.
The only saving challenge we do is the dollar saving challenge and saving our extra change. We’re only doing 2 sinking funds right now because we’re focused on paying off our debt.
I hope your move is going smoothly. Can’t wait until you are settled in and you are back to regular here. I just found the April binder in your Etsy shop and ordered mine.

Oh friend, i cant form whole sentences (that make sense) when im recording lately. Its super frustrating, but i try to edit as little as possible because im just weird, and like to show it. 😂 Weather in Germany is weirder than I thought it would be. It's been very overcast here the last week or so. We get occasional peeks of sunshine, but not enough to raise anyone's Vitamin D levels 😂

Girl, just know you’re moving to Iowa you’re not gonna be too far for me here in Missouri. You gonna need some winter clothes some heavier, jackets, mittens, and all the things for the weather lol because Iowa winters I hear can get a little rough not as bad as Missouri, but still all in all!
One of my favorite things to do before I leave a place is act like a tourist in my old place. Eat at my favorite restaurant and do the things that you normally would do because it’s always available. Make a list of all the things and cross them off with the kids. 😊

This is the first month that I've used your monthly planner. I plan to use the monthly savings challenge, then at the end of the month move that money to my usual savings challenges. I got paid today and it was so satisfying to stuff some money then highlight the numbers on the tracker. I think this will motivate me even more to save. Love your channel, good luck with your move.

I have moved a lot. Something I have learned to do is using a suitcase or 2 to pack for essentials the night of and the following morning. That way you don't immediately need to go through box after box for little things. Brings less chaos.

Good luck on the move.. some of my family lives I'm Marshalltown n the winter it's very cold. Last winter it was -21 when we were there.. very beautiful though. Summers are hot.. n now sc is was nice for a few days can't wait for our 2 weeks of spring lol.. 😊
Both of my kids went trick or treating till they were 14 before they decided they didn't want to go anymore, so you might still have a few more years of them enjoying the little things in life.

I just got my oil changed this weekend for $68 at the dealership and they did a few recall items free too. $100 is a lot but $175 is BANANAS!!

I do not use all the cards so digital lets me only print what I need but i have bought the physical copy as well. Thanks for always posting and staying so upbeat. You have made my life so much easier with the way you do the cash stuffing compared to how I use to do it (one envelope for every little thing)

Minnesota has had the mildest winter I know of. Hardly any snow and few days of being really really cold. This weekend it is supposed to hit 70. It's been crazy.
Ohh wow that is wild!! February is usually the only real cold month for Mississippi and it's been 60-70 degrees this month. It definitely has me all thrown off.

Omg, you pay that much for oil change, that’s a rip off. Is the oil made out of gold 😂Here in CT we pay $75 for synthetic oil change. I know everywhere is different. It was warm but rain yesterday. Today it was like 40. Have a safe trip moving and God bless❤

Wow! $100 for an oil change? And now they want to charge you more! We pay $60 tops for a high milage change. I hope you can find somewhere more reasonable for that.

@KtBudgets wow! I'm sure it varies from state to state, but I'm surprised people are being charged that along the Gulf Coast of MS. I'm just less than an hour down the road one state over. I'd definitely be doing some research and shopping around to find somewhere reputable with fair prices just to be sure about the pricing

Holy crap!! An oil change for $175 that is bs!!!! That is a Rip off!! Where in blue blazes do you go!!! I have a new SUV with the special oil put in it and I only get charged $60 and if I take it to the dealership it’s $75 max!!! Sweet girl you are being ripped off. By the way, my hubs family lives down in MS and they don’t pay that much. Please check around!
