The best band to come out of Manchester by far . Forget Oasis who not only tried to emulate The Beatles but ripped off tunes from The Real People ( Fact ) check it out . But James are unique . To me the dont get the recognition they they deserve, it's almost like a cult following. SO if your listening to this let me fookin tell you. You know music. Love and peace x
What a band, everything about them is pure talent. Other so called big bands should take note of their live performances and how to interact with the crowd! They always give that big extra and make their gigs feel unique and that you were at something special rather than just reel off a load of songs sung with no heart
I have covid, 15/08/21 3am in the morning, isolated and remembering my childhood. I feel bad that other pop music nowadays is so lack of talent and good taste.
James were always criminally underrated imo. I feel sorry for them because all people remember them for is 'Sit Down', which I personally think is one of their worst songs. I saw them live in 2015 at Festival Number 6 and they didn't disappoint. I also saw Tim Booth at V Festival(?) when he went solo and he was giving the crowd an earful for not buying his album. He's an interesting guy. They are all very talented musicians who can actually play their instruments like the geniuses they are.
I love this group for making this beautiful record. i remember the first time i heard it, loved it instantly and ever since. And the video is wonderful x
