I nearly got killed in my boat last year. Storm came over the mountain and I didn’t see it coming. The lightning hit all around me and came sooooo close to me. I will never go fishing without this again now that I’ve bought one.

Is it accurate?
That device is NOT that it warns BEFORE lightning strikes, right? I don't see any use in that.. what's the use of letting me know when lightning has struck? if one without the need for detectors realizes when lightning strikes nearby...
It would be good if it prevents or warns before that lightning is going to strike nearby and so one gets to a safe place in case of being outside or something like that
It detects lightning strikes and shows the distance / where the strikes are detected. If lightning strikes 10 miles away, I’ll worry less than if it’s 5 miles away.
You can track lightning activity heading towards you.
It won’t prevent lightning 🌩️ but it may give you a heads up.
It just detects lightning and it’s range.
