They’ve been one of my favorites since I found out about them at 16 years old. (I’m 34). It was definitely amazing to be there for their prime. The Black Page was and still is one of the hardest metal music videos of all time. 😊
Most of the good Deathcore bands grew up in the early 2000s from the Hardcore scene. Nowadays, the new bands care more about looks and generic song structures.
Yo los descubrí hace aproximadamente un año (si, un poco tarde), me encantaron todos sus discos, tan hermoso como recibir un palazo en la nuca. Saludos desde Argentina!
+Marianne Sullivan I've been looking for these guys FOREVER. I bought one of their albums back in.... either 99 or 00'. Do you happen to remember what that album was? I think their record label on the CD was either Jackhammer or Sledgehammer. I'm looking for one particular song, but I only see 2 albums on YT or I'm linked to the older UK band.
DontKillRoyalty I found them about 4 hours after I found this. They were a Canadian indie metal band. There's hundreds if not thousands of metal bands called Animosity haha. It took awhile, but I found em :P these guys are awesoem too
Still awesome after years!!!! R.I.P Animosity!
Just discovered this band the other day, and over 20 years too late🤣 these guys were definitely pioneers in the deathcore genre 🤘
I only found em a year or two ago. Damn I feel like I missed out
my favorite extreme metal band

Whistler and ditch sounds God

2022 this is still good
The instrumentation specialy the drumming is superb! Why couldn't have deathcore turned out like this? Such wasted potential
Most of the good Deathcore bands grew up in the early 2000s from the Hardcore scene. Nowadays, the new bands care more about looks and generic song structures.

This sounds really HARDCORE
Seriously it’s crazy how many careers started from this band. Navene has always been a great drummer and has only continued to get better over time.
@@hogosbazvarakh92202024 real deathcore making a comeback it’s pretty hype
These guys used to crash at my place in San Antonio, miss these guys!
I feel so lucky that I've known about Animosity since 2005. One of my favorite bands of all time.

Yo los descubrí hace aproximadamente un año (si, un poco tarde), me encantaron todos sus discos, tan hermoso como recibir un palazo en la nuca. Saludos desde Argentina!
I can see why all the early deathcore bands were so influenced by these guys. They are a whole vibe 😎
Everyone, including Animosity was pretty influenced by Christian Hardcore and most specifically Embodyment.
GREAT BAND ive listened to them for years. RIP animosity!!!!
Fucking killer band, I miss Animosity. I must have owned 7 shirts and 3 hoodies....
+Trevor Lichty Still rock the 'California love' shirt on the regular they printed around the same time they released this album

Great band..
People might hate me for saying that but 16:40 sounds EXTREMELY like old Bring me the Horizon (Count your Blessings) which is fucking awesome.
This album is from 2003. it influenced alot of people
+Nackertash exactly. animosity made certain styles and sounds especially off this album sound so good within metal.
daaaammnn...this album it's pretty fuckin amazing. those guitar riffs are awesome
so amazing!

While I do agree this band and album is epic as fuuuuck, they're definitely a deathcore band, not hardcore. :P
