Shines like a diamond in a goat's a$$ now. And smells better too no doubt. Love the graphics that Philco Service manuals contain. Weirdly enough I got originals in a Philco binder I bought some years ago which contain phonographs, radios, and a few radio phonographs from roughly 1946 to 1953 with a few missing. I have yours and is as sharp and clear as can be! Didn't know about the production changes flyers Bob. I don't have any of those! Might be on the Phicoradio site? Maybe one day I will actually own a Philco and from one of those years! LOL
Thinks for the tip about the shoe polish. I have the painted one like this with the 50B5. Paint is in poor condition and needs to be reprinted. This is a very common radio but not very valuable.
Another great restoration!😉
Excellent job thanks 😊
Nice job and thanks for the tips! The hippo looks great!
Great video and very informative. The Hippo is always on my radio shopping list. I’ll add one to my Philco radio collection sometime.

Nothing has any style today.
I love the different cabinets on those old radios 📻
