This is exactly the video I was looking for a lifestaff healer build that also can do dps. I know everyone says rapier over voidblade for more mobility, but with petrifying scream I feel like rapier and Voidblade are pretty similar. Your thoughts?
I have both a rapier and a voidblade video up now and honestly, I prefer voidblade but definitely have more escape options with rapier. IMO, voidblade wins out for me, but you can’t deny how good a skilled rapier/ls build is. It just gets boring eventually lol

I completely disagree with having leeching on the ring. If you are a healer and you choose to have leeching, you are trolling. You don't do enough damage to really benefit from it. You want to have Healing Breeze on that ring. Its practically a free Orb of Protection heal.
I completely agree, now in season 6. Healing breeze in season 5 was not great at all, working on a single target and you could t choose it. This video was out before the update and patch notes… So if you’re reading this, get healing breeze. Vivify from Laz is a great start!
Drop flurry for riposte and drop orb for splash. Orb is typically only used in aoe builds. Turn off omni directional movement in your settings to get more out of your evade. Typically you hold evade for escaping as you flick your mouse. Riposte into evading backwards into a fleche as your escape tool.
Appreciate the suggestions. Splash is also aoe build though, right? I’ve used no orb and went lights embrace with the skill perk for haste as well. Riposte has been a favorite of mine also, but I haven’t felt it really “save” me, so the flurry has been something I implemented to just put more dps out as I was staying alive a lot longer than I had imagined
@darkenedcyrusgames lookup baboonbannana here on UA-cam. He posts really good healer guides for pvp healers. I'm not saying be a meta chaser. Play to have fun obviously but if you really like improving competitive wise I'd look into his videos. Gearing up this patch is gonna be relatively the same as the past few months. We just wont be able to use the op glacial tarn gear we used to use at the new gear score cap and such. Idk what server youre on but I have a whole bunch of old company mates that are gonna be joining on fresh starts tomorrow on us east down to play sometime.

@@darkenedcyrusgames Splash might seem like an aoe skill compared to light's embrace but it fits very well into a group healer build. Orb however fits better into an aoe build designed to heal more than just your group (although i do like orb a lot in 3v3 arena). Light's Embrace really shouldn't be necessary if you use Refreshing Divine Embrace well.
Great vid! Healing is all about positioning and situational awareness more than anything. Sacred ground is required, but I think every ability is great for LS in opr.. Since you’re queuing solo I actually wouldnt have recommended splash for the last 9+months, since they nerfed to 25m reach and random groups usually have bad comp. the update coming out tomorrow might make it more fun for you with the push back since you like to dps though!! In fact, I’d love to see a video using new splash with your play style just for the pushback effect 😂 I play DE/LE/sacred in opr, it’s a blast 😊 Keep rocking what’s working for you! Question: I was thinking about running tumbling feetwraps instead of featherweight. Does anyone know if the perk from tumbling works on evade with rapier?
It doesn’t. And while this is something that’s great in PvP for heals, you can get a lot of use out of featherweight and using orb getting 1500 armor as a light user.
Totally will! Just always run a light equip loadout and focus on leveling with the life staff first as it will come in handy in situations to keep you alive

LOVE THIS! Nope, totally feel that. I've been on YT long enough doing content to know that everything can't be the best. My last two videos are my absolute favorite builds there are, so I plan to highlight the ones I'm enjoying, covering some news, doing guide, and just general game stuff. I definitely want to make some basic overview videos for those coming to Aeternum to explain how the map works with companies, etc. It can definitely be confusing for beginning players

You put dia in with a runeglass that does ticks cause it will fill your heartrune faster, leeching does nothing. Amulett always health protection and stam recovery. Ring hearty sacred and the one that removes debuffs on heartrune use. And why you leftclicking with rapier you should never attack with it always keep distance and stay on ls. You go 350/250 400 is not worth diminishing returns etc.
Or, and hear me out, light attack with rapier and get stam back. Totally can set this up to be a passive healer.l! This isn’t end all be all, but this feels awesome to play both aggressive and passive

To answer you’re earlier earlier question, no, I didn’t account for cheaters? lol. Build might be popular from day 1, doesn’t mean it isn’t viable now. Also, maybe what @dimaknopf was saying was to touch grass?
4 years and one battleground map... 4 years and 3 end game dungeons. Pronouns in the in game bio. Garbage woke game with no content. Don't buy this game.

Nope! Attribute food. You can get up to 48 points just from food

New player here i have'nt seen a rapier with focus yet how do i get my hands on one?
Get any rapier at first and equip it. Run almost all focus for attributes. Then the game will start dropping you rappers with focus as the attribute!
Also, equipping an amethyst or amber gem in it will convert some of the damage on the rapier to scale with focus rather than dex!
why does you weapon mastery look different? flurry on my game is on the top left while riposte is on the right most corner
