I just saw him live in berlin and I have to say, after following his musical and personal growth the past years and experiencing this young guy become one of the most respectable and interesting rappers in the industry...I am so proud of him. His growth is an inspiration and won't stop anytime soon.

this song touches me so deeply. about a year ago, me n this girl were having a long distance relationship. i was in dallas while she was in austin, so it wasnt too bad but most of our time was spent apart regardless. i worked out this process where i would go down to visit her for a weekend every now and then, and thats how we were able to spend our first nights together. those weekends were the best moments of my life since i got to spend them alone with a person i loved- what more could i ask for? going back home always left a deep hole in my gut, and we would both be on the verge of tears every time lol. the 3 hour bus ride back home was when the sadness really sank in. on the way home from the first time i visited, i was listening to this song while staring out the window like it was some kind of cliché music video haha. i was pretty sad, but the way my emotions mixed with this song kind of brought out the beauty of it to me and every time i listen to it now, it brings me back to that state of overwhelming emotion. its been six months since we broke up now. and yeah im over her but this song still has a really strong influence over how i feel.

Brian is one of the most relatable artist the fact that he requires alot of hard work to better his voice makes his songs rlly genuine
Back when i was with my ex this was both our favorite song, we even went to a Rich Brian concert. Hearing him preform this was so magical. Eventually things started to go bad, and I guess she just lost interest. It's just so ironic how the song fit the scenario of the breakup :(

Well his first album was super rap heavy, but "the sailor" is a lot more melodic. Still rap, but he sings a lot more. He improved his flow and vocal performance immensely. You should really give his latest album a try
