This means it is not updating itself (as of now) unless researchers train on new data. But a search engine pulls data from websites and they by nature update data as the corresponding website updates. So if you ask who’s the president now vs like 5 years later, the current version of ChatGPT will give you the same answer while a search engine won’t!
