I know this is an old comment but I couldn’t agree more. I can’t stand what they’ve turned it into. My friends and I used to go here all the time growing up just to hangout. I miss it so much. I could literally draw a floor plan of the mall from memory 😢
No. Most traffic for the mall for the past 10 years was because of Wal-Mart. That mall was dying in the late 90s and early 2000s. They did some remodeling in around 2003-2004 and that's when Wal-Mart came after Ames closed which helped the mall. Hanover people were obsessed with "trashy" Wal-Mart. Wait till you see the weirdos that market basket will attract from all over. You will Get people from quincy Braintree weymouth Rockland to go to that market basket. It will be crazy. For the most part that was one of the cleaner Wal-Mart's because it was small and didn't attract from the quincy and weymouth because they had their own Wal-Mart's to be weird in.
This place was booming 10 years ago and still strong 5 years ago. Demolished all for an outdoor mall fad. Very sad. It's like childhood to me
