With the Spyder Edge, it will cut through small wood but you might as well just break it with your hand and save the blade. I just put the knife there for a prop.

Kind of. It came with a small tin that's basically an open burner. You light that up, then put the stove on top of it. In my opinion, it would be better to use a tin with more capacity. Something like the lid from a can of shoe polish.

OK, OK. The stove comes with a small tin that you place under the burning chamber, light, then place the stove on top. I think the capacity is kind of low but the creator suggests using a lid from a shoe polish tin if you want more capacity.

ah smart....hey Jason you know that Army Surplus Swedish Trangia Mess Kit...it's like 1-2 pounds and the large pot will hold about 3 cups of water and it will bring 2-3 cups of water to a rolling boil in 3-5 minutes...

Very durable. Much more so than aluminum.

Jason, two questions: 1) Where can this be bought and 2) How can you adapt the stove for alcohol? does it require some sort of well for the liquid?

How well does the Spyderco knife you have work on cutting wood? I'm considering one myself but they are a significant investment. Great video!

Could you remove the little vents in the bottom and place a trangia alcohol stove inside of it?

Hey Jason, i just can't find a single website that sell these.
One thing that scared me was the price of the Lt2 i guess i was like 150 dolars. How much does this one goes for ?

Yeah but it's 1-2 pounds! I'm not as concerned about speed as I am about weight.

The stove comes with a small open burner that you put under the grate.

why even use one, just make a regular fire and prop your pot up on some rocks or whatever, wood stoves have always kind of seemed useless to me....
