I learned from my mother to wrap my yarn on the index and i use the same tehnique for knitting also.This way my work is a bit more denser because i put some tension in the yarn.(I learned as a child too, now i am 54 yo.)👍

The 3 YO is for the double treble; YO 3x, pull through 2 loops, YO, pull through the next 2 loops, YO, pull through the next 2 loops, YO, pull through the last two loops. I got super confused as well at first until I realized she was only telling us part of the stitch, the YO part, lol. I thought once I'd done the 2dtc 3x, she was doing something else, lol. It would have been helpful for a bit of explanation at that point to say she was demonstrating the actual stitch, or part of it at least, lol. That's the only thing I don't like about these kinds of video tutorials, no full explanations. You have to kinda figure out what they're doing by watching...and for this one...watching really closely, lol. I figured it out and made a lovely pair of earring that sold right away. Did you ever figure it out?

This lady does good with her tutorials. You can slow-mo the video speed by tapping the Settings Gear and then tap the Playback Speed to change it to .50 speed or even as slow as .25 of the normal speed. Since she doesn't talk, you can mute the sound if the slow speed music sound is too annoying for you. Good luck.😊
