Phantom 301, a member of Air Development and Test Wing
(This unit specializes in pre-operational testing and verification of JASDF equipment.)of Gifu Air Base.
This aircraft is the first phantom imported from the United States in 1971.
The Phantom is still stunning even decades later
I think so, too.
I love your work with and without music. It’s awesome to enjoy both ways. Thank you.
You are welcome.
I must have made at least 10 models of the Phantom when I was a kid. My Dad worked for McDonnel Douglas.
When I was a child, I made a phantom plastic model too.
Phantom 301makes music of it’s own!
Yes!
Even in the year 2020 it's a bad ass looking fighter.
有線イヤホンで再生してますが、やっぱり音、音!!
ジェット音とかインテークの吸気音?(コーっと鳴ってるやつ)とかと一緒に小鳥の鳴き声が、また良いッスー
Sounds Good←
じっと目を閉じて聞く双発のJ79。もう聞く事が出来ない104との違いを思い出しました。 至福の時間です。
独特の音ですね。
That's some old school plane that we'll never get in future sadly
I think only the Japanese would have a senior citizen(301) look as good and operate as well or better than any other country's "new" fighters. Tribute to their dedication and eye for detail. I wonder if, and how many of those at Hyakuri are subscribers, or know of your channels???
I can't imagine landing one of those pigs on the deck of a carrier but I've got friends that did it!
Really amazing.
Don't know what your definition of 'pig' is, but I don't believe it would apply to the Phantom in any way. BTW I flew Cs, and Ds out of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge in the late 70s, early 80s.
@@deandodson4158 Thanks Dean. My friends older brother flew them off decks during Nam and we were all pilots at the time...he the only military pilot and he said landing them could be tricky when trying to put down on a postage stamp. He also claimed they didnt need wings due to their immense power!
@@mikeblackford994 With BLC (boundary layer control) we used to say we were lying to the wings to make it fly!
With the right upgrades the Phantom would still be a flying platform to match anything else we have now..
I think so, too.
@@akikan1300 Hi...I subscribed to your channel...I see you love Phantoms as much as I do...they are the coolest planes ever..thanks
If I could own one jet fighter, there would be no contest.
@@christopherreed4723 - Right? Cool as hell looking!
After watching quite a bit of these JASDF Phantom vids, it looks like Mitsubishi took the nose portion of the USAF F-4E and used the bleed air system utilized on the USN F-4J. Which make sense because Mitsubishi called the model - F-4EJ..I always thought the J in the designation meant that Japan's Mitsubishi built them under license.
The F-4 Phantom. One of a handful of planes flown by the Navy, the Marines, and the Air Force. That right there should tell you something.
I like phantoms.
@@akikan1300 Best aircraft I ever worked on...
Your video work is absolutely fantastic! Thanks very much for posting videos of such a wonderful plane. I was privileged to fly USN F-B, N, J and S models.
My pleasure
見えないはずの空気が見える。
