Hi! Your new place is great! I work at Homesense and it’s been hard because of covid yes, we can’t receive as much, people are buying like crazy.. I feel like everyone is redoing their homes after spending so much time in them lol! It is strange to have such low stock and to see how fast it flies out the door! Hopefully the shelves can fill up so you can find some new treasures for your new chapter! The trucks come in the morning M~F and the new stuff is usually on the floor by the time the doors open. I hope that helps :)
It's the same everywhere. Because of COVID, production is behind on stock and a lot of production places have put priority on essentials over non-essential items. I work at Target and they are theorizing it could take a year to get back to normal stock because the supply chain needs to catch up.

I live in North Van, so I pretty much go to HomeSense in West Van and yesterday the guy told me they are restocking soon hopefully! And Also laste year I visited Toronto and went into Homesense and it was huge, kind of like a warehouse, at least 3 times bigger than what we have here !
