This song gives me hope. I honestly hate my life right now. I can’t wait to get out of my hometown. I want to move away all by myself. I start fresh. I don’t want to live near any family. Its too much stress. Im so unhappy where i am. But when this song comes on, it reminds me to keep going because soon ill be okay. Sometimes,when i am around people, i have to go to the bathroom just to cry because no one i speak to understands this feeling. I just keep thinking how much longer do i have to keep living like this….. if you would even call this living. Its more like im asleep, stuck in a living nightmare where everyday is the same and you are constantly surrounded by criticism and negative people. All the time. I want a life of my own. I life where all my ideas are not shut down immediately. I want to go somewhere, where i am free to be myself
Yes, that is what abuse does to a person. Fellow abuse survivors get it. 💔💪Self-abuse and abuse by others both do deep damage. I truly hope you have been able to access keys out of that cage (the cage can include any abuse we ourselves do to self or others as well) because we all deserve to experience the freedom and joy of living our lives without abuse. ❤
