@‘m Alyssa…their parents’ rights were severed, so I’m going to go out on a limb and say if they hadn’t been taken out of the situation that put them in foster care, their lives likely would have been less than ideal.
Lizzy, a tip for school supplies for college: You need less than you think you do. I usually just use a 5 subject notebook, a folder for each class, a planner, writing utensils, and my laptop.
Oh my goodness, my head was spinning with your finding lol. I would agree, a basket and list per kiddo (with a bigger buddy to help out the littles). Lots of things you would need for your big family, hopefully you found everything that you need.
I think Shelly and Jared will do every thing for their kids to have the "normal" life skills experiences. Depending on the place where they live and homeschooling or not, they make it a family bonding outing and they keep it as Crazy as possible. And a slice of pizza and some soda/lemonade is a treat. No-one has to prepare lunch at home.
I wish I could be that mom but the control freak in me just can't let go. If i let my kids pick their supplies they'd snatch up the $10 notebook instead of the $1 one 😵💫

Whenever you can help a teacher out, it is greatly appreciated. Most teachers get $100- $200 to spend per year. I am recently retired but my daughter teaches in Philly. She must spend nearly $1,000 each year. She buys prices, candy, art supplies, snacks, clothing, books, backpacks and so much more. Most decorations and organizers in a classroom are bought by the teacher. The card stock and colored computer paper are also something she buys multiples of each year.
I wish I had teacher like your daughter when I was in school and I’m from Philadelphia pa born and rise and I graduated class of 2013 from Radnor high school 🏫 outside of Philly
Love cynthias smile! Hope you all had fun shopping.
Love Aubrey's pinafore dress
Yey! I got ready excited. As soon as I got up, I opened my yt and watch this! Your Back-To-School vlogs are really my favorite (Christmas Vlogs as well!)
Shelly at the start "just throw it in"
Shelly at the end "this is so chaotic stop throwing stuff in"
🤣🤣
When Aubrey said Pole Huncher 🥺❤️ love all of you!
I’d say you guys did really well. Averaging out to about $100/kid after being homeschooled and not necessarily having everything
I’m so glad your able to provide for all of them, even little things they want. That doesn’t happen in a lot of large families.
I can barely buy all the stuff my three boys need I can’t imagine y’all are amazing
Love this family,the best I've seen!!!!❤
I would shop online and buy things like notebooks, pens, and pencils by the case.
I think they are happy to be closer to a mall and be able to go shop together for real. They seem to enjoy themselves. Having a slice of pizza and a soda or lemonade.
Kind of crazy method is their method.
You guys are so amazing! I’m so glad they have you to take care of them and love them!
The person ringing up be like “i just wanna quit already”
Walmart needs to sponsor you guys!! I will never complain about back to school shopping ever again 😅
what my mom used to do was just buy pens and pencils and if we needed something we got it but it was pointless bc not everything is used in school
Good Afternoon Crazy Middle's. I miss getting school supplies for my kids. I love to watch you every year when it comes to buying school supplies, shoes, clothes and backpacks. Trey was so determined to get something. Gotta love that kid. Be safe and God bless
All I’m thinking is how much money they spend
