- In this clip spiritual teacher, Adyashanti explains how much more powerful action is when arising from an awakened, unconditional, unified state of consciousness. As opposed to what can happen when doing from a divided, conflicted, and "unawake" state of consciousness.
"If you filter my words through any tradition or '-ism', you will miss altogether what I am saying. THE LIBERATING TRUTH IS NOT STATIC; IT IS ALIVE. It cannot be put into concepts and be understood by the mind. The truth lies beyond all forms of conceptual fundamentalism. What you are is the beyond-awake and present, here and now already. I am simply helping you to realize that." -- Adyashanti
I am only a student of Adyashanti's and this is my lovingly, unauthorized video layered over audio which was downloaded freely at Adya's website. www.adyashanti.... I attempted to stay as true as I could to Adya's intended teaching in this ten minute clip. Let me know how you truly feel about it and perhaps I will make some adjustments. Originally, my thought was to just layer a bunch of pics of Adyashanti and nothing else. But, I could only find about 8 decent images of him, so....
Ps. I chose this audio clip because I have never heard this subject addressed so clearly by him or anyone else-- enjoy.

Thankyou so much for this. Just had a brief attack of division. This has helped .
God bless and keep all.

People can be seen doing the right things for wrong reasons and vice versa all the time. I find if I listen to my heart I know what to do, when to do it...for all I know I might be here only to say one sentence to one person to make a change in their life and thats it, job done...who knows what chain of events can come of it, know what I mean :)

Hi there
Thank you for posting this. I agree that this is a helpful, clear discourse.
Rita
What he has to offer is solid, and seems true to me. It does run the risk of being misinterpreted to advocating POSTPONING activism until one is "unified"/perfected (?). We are flawed, very flawed, and the wise ones amongst us know it, and go forward anyway -- working on ourselves and working on repairing the world. You can't wait to get "good"/"unified" BEFORE addressing injustices....The point about not having any enemies is beautiful theory. Here on Earth? Necessary, but difficult.
Right. Too bad this was disected from a longer Q&A where he clarifies there's nothing wrong with activism. It's simply more effective done from a unified state and not creating opponents as harshly as "blaming the guilty party" method.
@rooruffneck My experience with "undivided" people is that most are very active in their communities. But, many in my country are "divided" internally AND like you I appreciate greatly their doing all that they do to protect the environment, communities, children, laws, etc.
you want to blame, your ego wants to blame something for perceiving and dividing thought, through separation creates conflict. That is why many great "gurus" or sages or philosophers often discuss rather than act.
To put yourself in conflict you are in the midst of not knowing; you can get drinking water from your roof. You can get food from your garden, what else do you need?
thank you, Adya
whew... what a wonderful message, so well said.
(not bad for a man with a weird name :)
Green Energy for World Peace, is the theme for the novel, "With These Eyes", written by Horst Steiner. Like Isabelle & Fuji, you can to, do your part to work towards world peace.
if my daughter is in danger of being destroyed by a chemical spill that has affected the drinking water, I am FOR the person in my community who is devoted to cleaning up the water and holding the offenders accountable...more than I am for the person at home enjoying her undividedness with little interest in what my little girl is drinking.
That surely is a reasonable response.
@bigdeadrobot Your welcome! Great love to you and ALL that read this, Todd.
the sin is to not know oneself.
because from the "I" everything arise.
"Know Thyself"
"Be still and know that I AM God"
Christian bible is like an encyclopedia if seen rightly without filters.
Thankyou.

there is pure ease the notion that Adyashanti may no nothing of Mother Theresa...in fact, it should be expected.
The only way out , is in..
its kinda interesting to note that mother T was in a state of constant depression.
Where you read that? 🤔
but what if the same person who cleaned the water is the one poisoning the food?
"Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants."
Look, I am "against" abortions, big time, but that quote from Mother Theresa can only come from a pained and highly divided mind. I'm not suggesting that Adyashanti needs to educate himself on Mother Theresa, but there are many other factors that might account for the so called force of her movement that have everthing to do with the false power of division.
So Gandhi and Mother T were awakened??
He does not say that, right. They were not dividing, he says.
:-)
Whats with the weird Name ?
I don't see or hear what's evil about this message. There's no such thing as evil, or good. What exactly do you mean by the blood of jesus?
My remedy for sin is seing that fear is the driving force behind all acts of cruelty and war and hate. But sin is still another concept, nothing more. There is nothing wrong will all that. It's just fear, nothing more. Be here and now. good day.
