Can you tell me why some of the huge tankers and bulkers are often discharging water from the anchor points as they come in to port, obviously it's not engine coolant, could it be ballast? "Saetta" with her anchors dragging in the surface was most interesting, she must have had a very profitable voyage and been full to the top and the cranes unloading the containers were fascinating to watch, could we have some more crane pix, please? It really puts the size of these ultra large ships into true perspective when you film them from the water surface, can we have more of this? What about the vessel you're shooting from, what does that look like?
The water you see discharging from the hawse pipe is quite simply washing the mud away from the anchor and chain which always comes up from the seabed when the ship has been at anchor.
