HOLY COW!!! This as a work around is flooring me. I literally just took a strong (screen shot(ing) some items as well!) page and a half of WORD notes recapping this. I initially ran into the issue recreating your recreation of the TESLA site which used Editor X ... there were enough discrepancies between how Editor X does this (wants it) vs how Wix Studio handles things with Advanced sizing this and that. I also thought MY GOD Wix Fix came up with this HOMEGROWN WORKAROUND. Sigh I'm exhausted / time for lunch. All that said, thanks for your video knowledge share and contributions. At this point, there is so much Editor X stuff... I'm trying to stay away from that and just FOCUS on Wix Studio and how does it handle the specifics. But yeah... all this for responsive text on a button. As you said, in the video... "“Again, I feel like this just may be a temporary fix until they add scaling text to buttons... ".
so helpful thank you. i am however struggling to align the button to the container - when i follow your steps it sizes itself to the text box instead. this would mean users would have to click on the text rather than the actual box to get the link. in the container contents the button is above the text, so i dont understand why it is sizing to this rather than the direct parent element? any tips would be great thank you!
Hi, this is an awesome video - thank you. For some reason though, I just cannot get padding to the left and right of the text box, its always a fit snug. Why would this be? Thank you in advance.
When I follow these exact steps, the text color takes forever to change on hover off. Like it's easing out for a full second even when I switch to linear. What gives?
Hello! This is a great fix, but when I expand my screen size large, for some reason, the text inside of the container doesn't stay centered. It drifts down to the bottom edge of the container. Is anyone else facing the same issue?
It's honestly embarrassing Wix hasn't fixed their buttons yet. It's as if they think buttons aren't important. One thing you didn't mention here is that when you do it this way, there's no way to classify the text properly. Text in a button element should be never be classified as a heading or paragraph. But there's no way to not classify the text element in Wix as one of those (or a blockquote). Wix needs to get its sh!t together.
You publish great videos but *WIX* should be creating nice buttons, not us! It's unimaginable that we have to manually design cool buttons from scratch in the year 2023. Insanity 🙂. Should all be part of their standard UI elements package!
Today is my first day in the Wix editor (helping out a friend) and I am shocked I have to manually do this! I may offer to do their website for free in Elementor under my Agency account because this is ridiculous!
@@SantiagoDigitalDesign You can design much more modern and stylish sites in Elementor, but you have to deal with WordPress. Wix simply doesn't have a proper toolkit of standard UI items. Welcome to 1995.

Do you know the best way to add FontAwesome in front of the button or link?
How does it work in terms of SEO? Does it affect what google crawlers see?

The padding needs to be applied to the container. Not the text element. I hope that helps!
In WIX Studio how do you pin to screen so it stays on bottom right corner for a back to top button?
why is your dashboard different from mine?
It is absolutely unbelievable that they don't have scaling text for buttons. Shocking

Same issue here the text doesn't stay centered, did you get it solved?
I have the same issue, has anyone found solution for this?
This is great. Thank you

I think I have been able to make it work by changing the text itself to advanced sizing
I do not see that as an option. Can you share the steps that you have in Wix Studio?
good work around
