First time I heard this version five years ago I just had my son. It was night & I was still in my hospital room. The baby was in the NICU & my husband had gone home. It was so quiet. I was finally able to just relax, and take everything in and embrace my new lifetime role. All these years later everytime I hear this song it takes me back to that night. ❤🎄
That is beautiful. It is amazing how music and certain artists can bring powerful things to us. My bride became an angel the month I found this song Dec of 2014. I think she uploaded it just a week before! And Brenda had a dog that looked so much like Daniela's that lived to be 18!

I used to sing carols to my dog and dress him up for Christmas and we all knew he loved and lived for Christmas. He passed away 3 days ago. I couldn't stop crying when I saw this video. This is the 1st Christmas in 14 years for me without him. Life without my dog will never be the same. This video will always remind me of him.

It won't. It does change. Every lost we have, changes us. I remember when my baby died and I went through the same 'this is the first time without him', and the pain is just consuming, only someone that lost an important soul know how that is. It's been 3 years since he's gone and I have many angels by my side and I don't daily cry anymore. It gets better even though still hurts a lot at times. I planted a tree in the place he was buried days after he passed away. Now it's a teen tree and it's *gorgeous* and I go there everyday and 'spoil' it ;P. Keep remembering him with all your heart, use that love of yours to other angels as well, and think nothing dies, everything transforms.
