He paused, deviated from his baseline, the laugh , the long drawn out answer about working on himself. That cluster of behavior was a dead give away. The easiest answer would have been “ yes, I’m ready for marriage”. Run JHud. He has a pattern of doing this In relationships. He gets them to the point where they feel like marriage may be on the table and then he leaves them.
I'm not a behavior analyst, but I notice the same thing. His response was indirect and all over the place. I also noticed that it was only a short clip of a portion of an interview. I would prefer to see the interview in its entirety before reaching an absolute conclusion.
I want to be completely unbiased. Listening to this negative narrative about Common doesn't help.
