Oh wow! Thank you so much for this video. I booked a flight for family member from Cameroonian to the US going through Brussels airport and I just saw that one of the requirements is for her to have a transit visa over in Brussels. Now I. Rebook it going through a different country.🙏🏽😊
You are welcome. Good thing you noticed that in time.
General rule: 1, provided you are NOT leaving the International transit zone (ei, no EXITING the airport,) YOU DO NOT need a TV. 2, If you NEXT flight is >=24hrs (for most countries), you DONOT need a TV. 3, If you NEXT flight is < 24hrs, you Definitely need a TV. For this incident, if you guys would have stay in the airport until you NEXT connecting flight, you wont have gone though that. The airline told you that you DONNOT need a visa, thats on the one hand, on the other hand they DIDNOT fully explain to you the conditions (perhaps assuming you were not going to exit the airport). Thanks for sharing anywhere, so others can learn from that.
This is very resourceful! Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry y’all went through such a horrifying incident! Glad the trip was successful overall! 🙏🏽
Absolutely. I'm glad you found that helpful
Wow, great info. Please we need more videos like this.
We would be making more videos like this in the nearest future.
I also found out that if you have a USA visa immigrating to the US you can go through Brussels airport with no issues. It’s listed in the exemptions from having to get a transit visa to Brussels airport. Again call and research for yourself before embarking in that journey😊.
Very useful information. Thanks a lot Kimmy 😊
Thank you guys. Very helpful infos.
You are welcome
You need transit visa if you stay at the airport, but if you want to go to hotel or other places you do ,the didn't want stay in the airport for 6 hours. I stayed at the airport the next to get a flight that had a long lay over. If you leave the area where you fight is to leave you have to go back through customs with a transit visa . It the people that make this mistake at times .
Very insightful
Thanks for putting this out there
Very helpful for teaching.
