I've been poor for 17 yrs. If I had to travel I'd rather spend the $10 on one well made to protect me than depend on my frail old sheets held together by fabric glue. It's NOT about fighting materialism or being as cheap as possible. It's about what's worth your dollar and what's worth your cleanliness.
Jennifer Bashore I'd rather know it wasn't made cheaply by making my own. I know my stitching is true and strong. Plus who said if has to be sheets so old they're falling apart? Those are rags. Use the ones that don't match your blankets or if you're anything like me...you have flat sheets you never use.
I don't own any fabric glue, do you? That bottle of Fabri-Tac they are using in the video is $9.99 at JoAnn's. A manufactured sheet liner with properly stitched edges is also $9.99. ProdigyAngel is so deluded that she thinks she's going to sew that edge that nifty clearly shows can't be sewn and needs other help, like glue, to keep from fraying. Like I said, it's about getting the best value for your dollars.
Love it! I stay in hotels for my job all the time, i always wonder how clean the sheets r!
First discovered these when I started staying at hostels. I like the pillow pocket idea!
I've yet to find fabric glue or tape that competes with needle and thread. :(
Love love LOVE this idea!!!
Amazing idea
If I don't have access to a sleeping bag, where am I going to find an unused sheet and a sewing machine?
Mikhela Kurzhal Obviously the point is to pack it with you when you plan on spending the night somewhere
Or use fabric glue or fabric tape. Flat sheets are relatively cheap to buy (go to Ross, Marshalls, Target, or if you can stomach it, Walmart).
I get paranoid about germs, I need this!
Excellent, but I would have the pillow cover the other way around. like inside out, so my head doesnt touch the pillow!!!!!
She didn't lock in the stitch, this is how your seems come undone people
What size sheet?
This is a great idea as my mom is allergic to hotel sheets.
0:35 For a moment I thought you were gonna glue it to the carpet
When you sleep over at your friends house and they fall asleep before giving you a blanket
Lmao I always do this except I just buy those bed liners that are made for single beds
Honestly you could make it better by sewing in some insulating( as in fabric not the house one)
wouldn't he fabric need to be thicker
But i like my blanket spread ;-;
Yoyo first 100 views???
Hi
dang this shit for me
Very hard
How?? You're sewing like 3 straight lines
Yes it is hard because I have a disabled arm.
Dalila Soto for you*
Dalila Soto are you sure that's not just an excuse? If your arms were disabled you would've not been able to type your comment.
If you read it I said ARM not ARM'S
You know..... they sell these too, no need to make it.
You know they sell EVERYTHING Nifty does. But that’s NOT the point!
