Thank you for the laughter. You never disappoint. I did get the firefighters over because my fire alarm kept going off and I couldn't figure out if it was carbon monoxide or not. The neighbours wouldn't come inside my house to help because of COVID. Turns out I had changed the batteries correctly but apparently all my alarms are synchronized and it takes a while for that to settle. They were great and arrived within 15 minutes. But I did remember how to swear both in French and in English when the alarm kept beeping on and off! It can drive you absolutely mad. 🤗

It's so interesting to see two smart comedians talk about everyday stuff and make it funny,like Seinfeld the show about nothing but really they took these everyday topics and made them funny. I'll be honest Ive been Sabastian fan, didn't even know who Pete was until this show but Pete is funny, so inquisitive and smart, underrated, plays off of Sebastian really well!!! Wish I had a buddy as funny and good hearted as Pete. I've had to edit my comment three times as I watch this cuz I keep thinking of new positive things to say.... That's rare. Nice job guys! Classic. Idk why, but this is the episode that I show everyone who's not enlightened yet to your podcast. For whatever reason, this one cracks me up so much! The others do too, so much, but this one stuck out to me as a good one to show my favorite peoples to get them as addicted to your podcast as much as I am lol. You guys are just so friggin' hilarious that I can't help but want to share it with people who I think might enjoy it! I built it up too much, I think, because I told my Uncle to listen/watch on his daily morning walk. He said "I can't watch it bc I'm worried to be embarrassed from laughing to myself in public"...that is no excuse lol. If he doesn't take a moment to watch you guys, he's totally missing out!
As soon as he said it beeps once every 15 seconds I knew right away it was a low battery. All the models are a little different but that's the one constant between all of them. You can't seriously be that dim to think that little beep is meant to warn you of carbon monoxide, c'mon now Sebastian. The best way to do it is to get two separate detectors; one specifically for smoke and fire, another for carbon monoxide. Because when you get those combo ones they make different beeps for different things and the carbon monoxide detector tends to be not as aggressive as the smoke one. They'll like beep real fast 5 times, stop for a few seconds, beep again 5 times fast, and repeat. It'll do something like that if it detects carbon monoxide meanwhile if it detects smoke, it'll wail. Designated carbon monoxide detectors will wail too if it detects it but those combo ones generally don't do that. That's why those combo ones are junk.
I am *SO* grateful my husband is handy! He's the last generation thomas guide user. This week he replaced shocks, struts, rotors, calibers, rear wheel hubs, brakes and motor mounts on our car. But with anything-If he doesn't know it, he'll learn it. Meanwhile I'll follow him right into the men's bathroom lol But it's his humor that keeps me around:)
