Dorothy, stunning layouts, as always! I have so far resisted buying 49th and Market until I make a dent in the Simple Stories vintage collections I have been buying. However, 49th and Market are beautiful and I am unlikely to resist for too long. This morning, I am going to a scrapbooking store about an hour’s drive away with 2 friends as a kick-off to the Crop and Create papercrafting event this weekend. I love, love, love 48 & Market - it is my favourite brand. I have both of these packs but I bought them for Junk Journalling. I never thought to use them in scrapbooks but these layouts have "broadened my horizons"...

Beautiful series of layouts, as always. I'm glad you're back. I was wondering if you could include what size photos you are using. Do you print them at home? Using what printer? What app? Perhaps a bit of of a video would be helpful for someone as technically challenged as me. 😜 J'adore ton travail. Merci de le partager avec nous.
Merci! I print my photos at Gosselin, a camera shop and photo lab in Quebec. I usually print 3 1/2 X 5 and 4X6. Sometimes I print wallet size if I have a specific project in mind, but that's rare. I also print 5X7 on occasion. I'm technologically challenged too..haha! I don't think I could offer that much advice on video. My best advice is to print your photos regularly. I know too many people who haven't printed in years and now, are overwhelmed at just the thought of it. (For those people, I would say start printing now, then worry about the old photos later.) I believe the best "back up" for photos is printed photos. I hope this helps!

Your layouts are gorgeous! I have to say I agree with you about the embellishment packs not including all the colors. But with that said, many are very adaptable to adding into other collections so I’m hoping I can use mine. I need to get this collection out again. I made two or three layouts when I first got it but I have a ton left. It’s so great to see you back.❤
You are correct. The embellishments should be adaptable, especially with distressed collections. The themes are quite general as well. Thanks for watching!
I finally managed to catch up on your latest 2 videos. Love them all. I remember seeing you make many of the single pages on UA-cam and the coordinating pages are fabulous. And, those cards are fantastic. I have tried multiple times to make a card, but I'm never happy with the results. I may try again one day with leftovers and stamps...it's not that I don't have plenty of those supplies. 🙄😂
I agree with you on the Spectrum Sherbet embellishment packs, but I'm pretty sure I can use the tidal wave ones with other summer/water pages. I'll have to start making layouts about my nieces to use up those strawberry lemonade ones...I'm also feeling somewhat the same way with the Essentials (stamps, tickets & coupons) in 12 different colors and there is so much in each pack. The filmstrips are fine because there's not much of each color in a pack. Will it stop me from buying them? Probably not, since I have 8 already. 🤭🤫
Don't worry about the videos being sporadic...I'm more than happy to learn something new or just enjoy a visit whenever you're ready. Take care. 🤗🤗

I also bought both ephemera packs from 49 & Market. I love the colors and everything in the packs, so I will break them out into color families after the paper is gone. I have already found myself digging into those packs to pull out pieces to use with other kits from other companies. But, it will take me years to work my way through those two packs!

Beautiful Layouts! I love the colors of the collection but I was put off from buying it because of the problem you mentioned with the embellishment packs. I don’t scrapbook as much as you do,so it didn’t make sense for me.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. One question: What size are the photos and mats on the page 2 layouts where you have columns of photos?
They measure 3,5"x 5" and the mates measure 3.75"x 5.25".

Your layouts are all beautiful Dorothy and it was nice to see some of them for a second time. I don't own 49 & Market apart from a stamp set - it all felt a bit abstract but I seem to recall you said something similar quite a while ago now :) I loved the title on your Pont Rouge layout was it created with Thickers, stickers or an alphabet die please? I'm going to have a look at the travel tool kit class as it sounds a little different. x
You are correct. Awhile back I added some older 49 And Market product to a monthly kit. I had always appreciated the quality but felt a little puzzled when it came to creating with it. Somehow, I'm managing to use it with my style. The Pont Rouge title was created with chipboard Thickers from a recent past Vicki Boutin collection..Sweet Rush, perhaps? Thanks for watching.
